The Home Depot — Local services in Danville

Got all new appliances here. Fridge, washer, dryer, stove, with delivery and set up. Deliver date rolls around, two weeks after our hase date, and the delivery guys bring all the stuff in and hook up slash install it. All but the fridge. At this point they inform me the fridge is damaged, and they're taking it back, and I'll get a replacement on the thirtieth. So the thirtieth rolla on around and I get a call from the delivery guy saying he will arrive in fifteen to twenty minutes.

Welp. Two whole hours comes and goes, in which the guy is actively avoiding taking my calls, and eventually turns his phone off entirely. So we have to call around to figure out why our fridge never showed.

Apparently, their delivery guy said the power lines were too low, and that he had called us, and we had volunteered to take our own truck (I literally don't own a truck, and this guy was lying through his teeth) to come pick the fridge up ourselves. So... It took a month for the delivery of the fridge.... And the power lines were too low... When you delivered all the other stuff just fine I'm the same truck not two weeks prior, and the lines haven't been moved a bit.

Would highly recommend going elsewhere. Dishonest. Late. Not careful with your stuff. Completely don't deliver things. To the point where a refund was given, and business is being taken elsewhere. Highly advise going with...

Thank you for having my most favorite flowers and they were on sale yay Update on April 18th 2025 I found the most amazing tile at Home Depot and the tile girl was amazing. He spent a lot of time with me showing what I would need for the prep work and the best way to lay the tile. He was amazing and then, of course I walked by the garden center and saw all the miracle grow on sale and the beautiful flowers so I had to grab those And TY Helped Me 😁👍 it's employees like this that keep me a loyal customer to Home Depot because I'm old and they show me how to do things myself and help me picking out my tools and everything else that will be needed for all my projects and then of course I love love love your coupons💋💯 Thanks guys for keeping Home Depot number one in customer service!!🩷💯 i'm putting your pictures up so people know how to find you👍💯 You guys are amazing. I’m moving to Danville and have been preparing the home over the last 2 years. I’ve purchased several things and had problems with purchasing the wrong blinds and and online purchase of $100 worth of light bulbs that we’re not as they should have been. The one person that was and has always been there to provide exemplary customer service is Karen. I believe originally She was at customer service desk or returns perhaps. Most recently, this weekend I had the issue with the Edison bulbs I had purchased online. The store didn’t have this brand but when I returned the defective ones Karen showed up(she now works in plumbing) and took care of the situation without hesitation.I can’t say how elated I was as I had just hung my new chandelier and did not want it to be short a lightbulb. She works in plumbing and didn’t have to go above and beyond but that’s what she does ! I wish other businesses could realize that as consumers it is important that they provide good CS as we have so many options rather than dealing with poor service.
