I went in to use the restroom with my service dog and the worker was extremely rude about it and instead asking about why I had a dog with me he told me very rudely I had to leave and then started talking about me saying “it’s that girl again” to the other workers.. I have severe bad seizures and my dog has to be with me at all times. My dog is not allowed to wear a vest at any time because he can not feel my heart beat through it. He has to be in my arms at all times when I’m in public to be able to feel my heart beat and warn me if I’m about to have a seizure to call an ambulance or notify someone. He also has to have the a side of his stomach shaved to be able to feel my heart beat better. He can notice that I’m about to have a seizure before I even know or have any signs of it. He is professionally trained to warn me when I’m showing signs. I do have paper work of proof that I will be bringing up to the gas station and if I have any other troubles with this place again I will be contacting the law because it’s legal in Alabama to go anywhere with ur service dog. I did not appreciate the rudeness I received at all. I will be coming back to this gas station with my dog and if I get any trouble I will call the police to let them explain they can’t kick me out for my professionally trained...
Read moreI cannot emphasize my disdain for this circle k. If you’re on the island and looking for a quick bite to eat just go down the road, get a fishing rod and try to catch something, it’ll be faster. Everytime I go in here there’s a line for the subway, a line for the checkout. And the people working the registers are rude and act like they hate you for coming in. I’ve worked in customer experience so I understand it sucks when you’re busy, this does not at all excuse the attitude of the people in this store. Not only is the service slow, it’s expensive, they’re out of everything when you come in. Most recently I tried to get a cup of boiled peanuts, there wasn’t enough peanuts to fill up the cup. I got an extra empty cup to put my shells in, and they tried to charge me a full price second cup of peanuts for the EMPTY cup. I wasn’t even getting a full cup of peanuts in the first place. If it was just bad customer service, or just bad prices I would not be so bothered but genuinely, every single aspect of stepping inside this store is an awful experience. Please give your money to anyone else on...
Read moreThis place is ridiculous - I show up wanting to buy 1 bottle of wine to enjoy by myself for 2 nights and the guy behind the counter refuses to sell to me because my out of state license won't scan with their system.... but it literally scanned the day prior at the ship 'n' shore next door. I'm 2 months away from being 30, and this place treated me like a 17 year old trying to buy liquor with a fake ID. I offered to show my nursing license, and offered to show documentation for my insurance and other proof that I'm not some minor trying to get effed up, but the guy behind the counter told me to get lost. I haven't been in this place in over 7 years, and maybe I should have kept it that way.
Based off of other reviews, it seems I'm not the only one with an out-of-state license that has had issues here. These folks have about as much sense as a football bat. Thinking of filing a BBB complaint because I've never been condescended to...
