I had not had a cut in almost 3 months, and I was starting to get to the mullet stage. SunKissed Hair was the highest rated salon on the Island, so I decided to give it a try.

The appointment link on the salon's website was relatively easy to use and offered multiple stylists at flexible times.

First off - the salon is on the 2nd story with a long staircase outside to reach it. My husband had an appointment for a much needed trim later in the week but had to cancel because he cannot do steps.

SunKissed Hair definitely rocks the beach vibe! The salon was clean and bright with good energy.

Nikki the owner cut my hair. She is so easy to talk to! With me staying away from people and places until Covid settles down, I left feeling like Nikki was a cousin I haven't seen in years, and my soul was filled from spending time with such a friendly lady.

Nikki gave me the exact cut I wanted! She made sure I was genuinely satisfied with the shape and length of my hair before I left. Some stylists just push you for the next appointment and payment without even asking if you're pleased with their work.

The prices are extremely reasonable, many services are available, and I'll see Nikki the next time I'm on...

My girlfriend and her sister both had to go back twice for a spray tan that still wasn’t done right after the second time. Plus my girlfriend’s daughter’s hair was done wrong and was damaged for her wedding by the same stylist named Jamie and she should get her money back. I could write A LOT more but the effort is not worth the time. I do NOT recommend this woman for anyone and I’m very serious!!!! UPDATE: It’s been almost a week and we’ve heard nothing from Jamie and she never offered a refund so I’ve decide to write more. This woman needs to make this right and/or find another career because she does NOT know how to be a hair stylist at all. She’s costing people money for a service she cannot fulfill. I’m sure there are some great stylists at this salon but...

I was quoted $20 for kids' cuts. I was charged extra because my sons "hair was too thick". Jamie cut my husband's hair the way he asked, but my boys hair looked horrible when she was finished. I asked if she would cut as close to the skin as possible and fade up, but she wouldn't use anything but a 2 guard. I asked her not to cut the top of my son's hair because we are letting it grow out.
