The community center occupies the islands old school building. There is a large room that highlights the history of the island and the numerous events that have occurred since the arrival of early Europeans to present. There is a gift shop and a library, which is great for travelers. No membership, registration. Just the honor system. Large selection of books and even some dvds. They got all my questions answered and even called the bike company for me and within 10 minutes I had a bike rented to explore the island on bike!
