This is a great little place to stop by. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They have a wall dedicated to showcase local artists which was fun to look at. The view is nice. The food definitely hit the spot, especially the sweet tea. It is neat that you can go up to the pub, order a drink, and bring it down to have with your food. I had the burger with fries. My daughter had the chicken tender basket, and husband had the fish tacos. Everyone enjoyed the food. No complaints. We will definitely come back when we go to Dauphin Island.

Great location to watch the sunset. The bartenders are friendly and attentive. It's a local bar that welcomes visitors. They don't serve food but you can order from Dockside downstairs and they'll bring it up. It's my first stop when I get on the Island. You can sit inside or outside. LOVE their Bushwackers !

A great friendly place to stop at, have a few beers with some of the locals and fellow travelers. Great views of the bay and service from Erin. It is upstairs but they do have an ADA elevator. We did not go to the restaurant below Dockside. We were too early in the day.

This is one of the worst bars I have ever been to. I would say that the bartender might have been having a bad night, but after two horrible experiences here, I will never be back.

I understand adhering to ABC rules, but the bartender treated my wife and I like we were toddlers when we ordered our drinks. We were made to hold up our IDs beside our face, and per the bartender’s request, “smile” for her. I guess aging is a difficult process for some people, and it’s easier to cope with by being rude to customers. Extremely insulting.

This happened the first time we came here too, and we will not be back! Next time I’ll spend my money somewhere that doesn’t treat me like a toddler. If you are considering coming here under the age of 65, be prepared to bend over backwards to accommodate the rude bartender. You might even be fingerprinted, have your SSN run, and be subject to a strip search. Just kidding, but I seriously do not recommend.

The only reason this bar is still open is because good luck finding anything else, especially...

A couple of days ago, we stumbled across this "locals" pub when looking for a place for a late lunch following the ferry ride from Fort Morgan. We enjoyed a great lunch. Most everything was fried--except the salad--but it was really good. The batter used there is light and seasoned just right. We had probably been there about an hour or so when Danny Martin, who I see commented previously here, arrived. He and Laurie along with Susan, the excellent barkeep, made it a fun stop for sure. The others in attendance appeared to be pretty much regulars, and it reminded me of a "Cheers" kind of place! A very friendly, fun place with cold, cold beer! We'll go back...

Cool beach town/island vibe. Seems authentic. With that, no draft beer and the bottled beer is limited to mostly domestics and your expected imports from Mexico. Have to come up here from the restaurant below if you want to get a drink with dinner.

I came through around 5 on a Monday so the place was very dead. Two people in the bar and the bartender was actually hanging out on the deck. Bet it can be a fun place with a bigger, rowdy crowd.

Biggest drawback, there is a two dollar charge for using a credit card. Regardless of tab size, which seems odd in 2022. So when you are just grabbing a round to have with dinner, you either pay cash or...
