This bakery could very well be 4.5 stars. They were closing for a 2 week deep clean, and I had just arrived for my vacation, so I ordered ahead of time to be sure I could try as much as possible. I also got their crab omlette (3 eggs) with Muenster cheese, only available for Saturday morning breakfast (breakfast ends at 1 pm). I found the crab to be well shredded, and the creaminess of the Muenster went well with the crab. It is a little pricey around $27-$28, but I would say it is worth a try. My order: one cinnamon roll, one pecan cinnamon roll, one chocolate hazelnut turnover, one apple turnover, one blueberry turnover, one raspberry cream cheese danish, and one pumpkin cream cheese muffin. The results: avoid the danishes and anything with cream cheese; the danish was like a thick bread with barely any raspberry filling. They don't manipulate the cream cheese in any way, so you just taste cooked cream cheese. However, the cinnamon rolls are a good size, with plenty of gooey brown sugar cinnamon filling, good tear with the bread, and a tasty water icing. The turnovers are remarkably FLAKY with plenty of filling to enjoy. The pumpkin muffin itself was good so I would say their muffins are well worth a try. My entire baked goods order: around $30. That is exceedingly fair for a bakery that provides you with bakery standard treats. I will definitely return whenever I go back to...
Read moreI can’t believe I didn’t get photos here. I ran up there Saturday morning to grab coffee and pastries to take back to my people for breakfast. I went early, no line. They even helped me out to my car. It was a super cute place with very friendly folks. We went to the Estuarium later that morning and then actually decided to come back here for lunch. There was only one other table seated so it seemed fine even with Covid. There is also outdoor seating on a very lovely deck. There is a ramp available as well. The parking was good and the food was good. I didn’t love the chicken salad. Chicken salad is one of those items you make it the way you like it so you might not like it made by others. The pastries were deliciousness!!!🥰 The cupcake/muffin was so delectable. I loved the danishes. The king cake was devoured over coffee. The coffee was really good too. They had a few to choose from. They did mention that they have omelettes on Sunday morning. Therefore, they are more crowded on Sunday mornings. They also had fresh baked bread loaves available which I wish we had tried. They looked scrumptious. I love fresh bread. Certainly out this place on your list to visit. At least to stop in and grab pastries...
Read moreThis place is a bit of a mixed bag. I guess the most important part is the food. I have to say the sweet baked goods are delicious, but some of the savory are lacking. The bacon wrapped biscuit sticks were dry and boring, but the cheese Danish is great. The coffee is good, but it's been made differently every time I've gone, so very inconsistent. One day it may be watery, one day, they added cream to my americano, etc. Nothing major, just inconsistent. The service is very slow. I've been forst in line twice at 6 am amd still waited 10-15 minutes on my coffee. But the one thing that I have a hard time getting behind is both times I've gone for food, they turned me away. I came at 6:30 am one day and was excited for the biscuits and sausage gravy, but was told they don't serve them until 7am. Next time, I stopped by at 9:30 am so I could get something to eat. I ordered a chicken salad on a croissant. They told me they don't do sandwiches until 11am. I wish they would work on some of these things, because my coworkers in the area say the...
