Dory's Hallmark Shop — Local services in Davenport

Unbelievably bad customer service. Ordered a special Christmas card for my grandson online in November to be picked up at this store. I went in to pick up another order, was told the card was not there yet. Waited a few days, was told it wasn't there, they didn't know where it was, couldn't track it, talk to Hallmark.com. Several days later I called again and was told the same thing. No luck with talking to corporate either. Bought another card from another store. Today, 2 1/2 months later, I get a call from the store manager that I have a package that has been sitting there since November 26 and to come pick it up! Told her the story and she said she was sorry, they should have checked in the back room and didn't know what else she could do. I said they could have taken my number, contacted corporate and called me back, and that I wanted to laugh in her face for calling me now. Told her to throw the card away, I will eat the cost, but I'll never shop...

We needed to pick up some ornaments we had them save for us I called about the night before. Not only did they save it, they helped us find some other ornaments and gifts. The lady was a great help and was very kind to answer any questions or about stock of certain ornaments. My Dad and I had alot of fun there today (mostly reliving childhood memories brought back by some of the ornaments) I haven't laughed like that with him for so long. Thanks for the trip down...

Sadly I wanted to buy some birthday cards here, but it's not even open. It no longer has the Hallmark sign, instead it has a sign that says "Outlet" and you have to make an appointment over the phone to shop here.

Times are hard, maybe the store changed owners or something, but I have to give it a 1 star for wasting my time and gas trying to find this place. The North Park Mall should also...
