Being a Davis resident, I had been a long time customer of Strelitzia Flowers when I needed floral arrangements for special occasions. So when it came to deciding who to trust with our floral needs for our wedding, it was a easy choice to turn to them for this as well. My wife and I knew the center piece flower that we wanted and what colors we were using, but that was it. And I'll be the first to admit that I don't know much about flowers, especially when it comes to organizing large arrangements that would compliment each other. We went into their store and were immediately greeted by a very welcoming sales associate. Once we explained our reason for coming in, she introduced us to Letitia (Tish) who, from that moment on, dedicated her time to making our vision into a reality. Tish was very knowledgeable and helped pair our vague ideals with truly beautiful flowers. She took the time to really understand what we were looking for by going through photos we had brought in for inspiration. While my wife and I had all these big ideas for floral designs, we also had a budget we needed to follow. Tish was very understanding and accommodating, making sure that all the ideas she proposed were going to be realistic options as well as beautiful. I was happy with every interaction and correspondence that happened between us and Tish leading up to the big day. I knew that she understood our vision and would deliver breath taking arrangements that would really accent our ceremony and reception. When I arrived on site, I was truly blown away; Tish and her crew went totally above and beyond my expectations! It was evident that she put an exceptional amount of thought and care into creating the perfect scene for our celebration. There will not be any orders placed with this company. I was excited to hire for wedding. There were many attempts to set up appointments to discuss the floral vision we had for the wedding. We only had one meeting and when they sent over the email with a proposed package I did not see the vision of what I wanted. I was assured we can further discuss so we can be on the same page and I was very excited to do so. Every attempt to schedule after was very difficult as they expressed they were very busy, which is understandable. We tried to accommodate their time and schedule a date the wedding coordinator assured us she had completely available. It was a Monday and we took time off from work to schedule with her. This shop has ruined our weekend with their inconsideration. As much as I wanted to love this place and was super excited for my wholesale order. However, I had a pretty bad experience overall, especially with the manager. I placed a special order for a birthday/mother day weekend for a couple of bunches. Most of the bunches were really bad quality. One purple bunch of Lisianthus I received was 4 purple flowers and 20 super green small buds, super terrible looking. I wish I took a photo to show y'all. One of my bunches was unavailable that they even didn't tell me about. The other bunches were wilting pretty bad. The manager was being super rude and said they don't do refunds on special order but if it was a special order and the quality is bad and you are missing my items then that's not even a special order.
