We ordered a TV 2 weeks ago. They gave us a delivery window forcing us to stay home to accommodate. It shipped from this location, yet did not arrive on the date of the scheduled delivery. I got no-call no-showed, then had to call THEM to figure out what had happened. After 9 logged hours on the phone with customer support, nobody was able to help us reschedule, cancel the order, or give us a refund. Finally, after visiting a branch (and getting a shoulder shrug there), we were forced to wait longer. We were called by a customer service team who promised a call back, but instead they freed up our purchased tv as inventory and sold it to someone else with no call. When I attempted to reschedule the delivery, they only had availability a week and a half from that day. Don’t order for delivery from this business, their automated system is garbage, and the members at the branches aren’t able to do anything (to no fault of their own, shoutout Watertown).

The behavior of the customer service was bad. When I requested to talk to the manager, and the manager came- she was worst than the first person. I told her that it’s not just money it’s this bad quality product bestbuy is selling and it gives bad experience about BestBuy, not only Samsung, she was like I can’t do anything if you don’t like it. She was even mockingly laughing when I was leaving the store disappointed. Had a bad day due to this unprofessional rude manager and customer service person.

I gave one star because i can't give no star. Customer service on the floor need more training. I went to have my laptop service for a tune-up with the Geek Squad, with an appointment at 10:20am which I drove 45 minutes to be on time. From the start, Chris told me to move too closer to the customer services counter, he was dealing with a customer, so I thought I was in line or proper line keeping my distance. He had some issues going back and forth, including displacing the paperwork of the customer he was working with. At the end he gave her a new tablet to solve the problem. In the meantime, I was waiting patiently. When it was my turn, I tried to explain the issue with the laptop which was turning on too slow and Westbroot software, purchase through them, indicated I need three things done. Since I pay a yearly membership for these issues, Chris wasn't patient enough to listen he was only fixated at my laptop processor (a blue sticker on the laptop) and saying and kept on asking "how old is your laptop. " I answered I had it for 4 or 5 years. He added "you need a new one" pointing at the sticker. I told him that I wasn't planning to buy one that my laptop only needed a tune-up to load faster. He kept telling a few times I needed to buy one and I kept telling him "no" all the time for his suggestion to the point I told him "don't you fuc..ing get it, I don't need to buy one. I don't know if he didn't understand my answers regardless of my accent as Latina, but "no" is a "no" in any language. He only focused on from that moment on to the word I said or swear and he was mad and he wasn't want to provide me with services. I decided to leave. I didn't feel like leaving my only laptop, which I needed it for my job, with that person. And I was afraid he may ruined for the sake for me to buy a new one. I was so mad and upset since I didn't get my laptop work done as I needed despite paying a membership and being treated so condescending by this person. He had an attitude that he didn't want to work due to his behavior with first customer, an African-American female, then he gets a Latina female, me, very array. If he can't deal working providing services to minorities then he shouldn't be working in that position. Now, I'll let my membership lapsed, which is paid until December and prefer to use a mom and pop location or any other place. Lack of customer service is bringing many stores down. My experience with the Best Buy store in Dedham for phone repair was quite a journey, and not in a good way. I had to schedule the phone repair appointment three times and even though I succeeded on the third try, they failed to complete repair on the same day as promised, and never bothered to communicate the status or reason for delay. This was super frustrating to say the least.

During the first attempt, my appointment was abruptly canceled as the technician apparently left for the day just two hours before my scheduled time. I received a call just 30 minutes before my appointment, and despite confirming my availability via text, I was told there was no one available to work on my phone. It took some back-and-forth before they admitted the technician had just gone home. I agreed to reschedule, hoping for a better outcome.

On the second attempt, I scheduled directly with Best Buy call center, making sure to confirm all the details - availability of the replacement part, technician's presence, suitable timing and the duration of repair. Unfortunately, I received yet another call 30 minutes before my appointment, from the local store, same person as before. This time, I was informed that the technician doesn't work on Sundays, despite all my prior confirmations. The blame was shifted to me for not scheduling with local store and using their call center instead, even though the local stores do not accept phone calls. Frustrated, I decided to try once more, this time scheduling with person from Geeksquad who called me about cancellation.

Third time turned out to be the charm (almost). I arrived at the store punctually and only had to wait for about 10 minutes. I handed over my phone for repair, and I was advised it would take approximately 2 hours. I emphasized that this was my work phone and needed it back the same day, to which I was assured there would be no issue.

However, as time elapsed, I realized I hadn't received any communication from Best Buy regarding my phone's status. After waiting for 6 hours with no updates, I attempted to call the store. To my dismay, it seemed the store no longer accepted direct calls, and I was redirected to the call center, which was unable to provide me with any assistance related to the store's operations.

As of now, I'm still in the dark about the status of my phone repair, and I find the lack of communication disconcerting. I will be sure to provide an update when I have more...
