Subway — Restaurant in Dedham

Very disappointed in how far this location has fallen. It was never a 5 star store but was always run decently and you got the product you paid for. Today I went in for 2 sandwiches. The first was more or less(less being the operative word) made to my request however the second was actually laughable. I asked for extra extra spinach and onion. He put on about 6 small slices of onion and maybe that many leaves of spinach. After I asked him to add more he said he couldn't because of "the war making things hard to get" the same excuse he used for the women behind me as to why she couldn't order gluten free bread. OK I understand everything is more expensive I work in an industry that has been effected by the heavy inflation. So I said I am willing to pay extra but would like my sandwich the way I ordered it. He said he would charge me for extra cheese then, which I agreed too. He then preceeded to add another 3 leaves of spinach and maybe 5 slices of onion. He rang it up as the 2$ extra cheese charge and I actually laughed at the idiocy. I paid and left because the 2 Dollars was not worth my time to sit there and say anything about it. Figuring it was an off day or what not I looked at the reviews. Looks like this is the new norm for them and as such I will not be returning. It's bad enough that I could buy a whole container of spinach for 3 dollars but to blame it on "the war" when people are actually dying over seas is...

Will never go to this subway again! I think I was just a subject of racism or was scorned for using a coupon. I wish I could give zero stars. Got a coupon in the mail today and decided to get 2 subs. The guy waiting on me was rude as hell but I bit my tongue and chose to be polite. Waited for a few minutes for him to just take my order as he was peeling cheese. I was the only customer btw. Ordered my food, and then another guy took over after sub was toasted as another customer came in. Then I heard him tell this other worker not to give me too much. (I'm not deaf) Literally got 3 tomatoes while the other woman got 4. I said something. He acted like he didn't hear me so I let it go. Then I asked for pickles and got 3 pickles...yes THREE. Asked for banana peppers and got 3 banana peppers. Meanwhile the other woman asked for pickles and hers got loaded with pickles. So I had to ask 3 more times for extra pickles in order for him to "respond" by actually adding pickles. I chose to be kind today and not be my mouthy self. I thanked them and paid. As I was leaving he said "and don't ever come back again." I did not confront which now I wish I did. Oh I won't go back EVER again. And I've messaged corporate. Worse...

I'm kinda bummed to see all of the negative reviews but I've had nothing but good luck at this subway, especially compared to the ones in norwood.

They accept the BOGO coupons and promotions that the norwood subways don't. The subs are easily better than anything I've gotten out of either of the norwood stores.

I've never ordered in line at the store - I've always ordered on the app and picked up the subs from the little rack they have next to the register. It lets you get right in and out in a matter of seconds. The worst part of the whole experience is taking your life into your hands navigating and parking and walking in that ghetto plaza's lot.

The fountain machine always tastes like the mix is a little bit off but that's a subway thing across the board, not just this one so I'm not knocking a star for it, just get bottled drinks or get your drinks elsewhere.

I know subway doesn't make the greatest subs out there but if you're hungry and in the mood for some "ok" subs that you can grab and go with minimal hassle then this is the subway to go to. Avoid the norwood...
