DXL Big + Tall — Local services in Dedham

It was my first visit. Not much to add to what already has been said. Clothes ranges from economy, middle to upper end. Quite sizable selection. No matter what you looking for, you’ll fish something you love. Inside, the store, for me, has something from feel of middle/upper end hotel. Maybe not Ritz Carlton, definitely Marriott though. Tasteful decor, abundance of well positioned lights, shiny metal and glasses, discrete tasteful music, soft carpets, smell of cleanliness, professional, tactful, friendly stuff. Everything gives impression of being brand new and spotlessly clean. Peaceful, relaxing, very pleasing esthetically place to be. Pricy? Rather. I paid $35 for short sleeve buttoned shirt (quite classy though). Pants (black classic for tie shirt) I managed to fish online for $45. Everything very well organized. So no digging for half a day for style and size as in Filene’s or Jordan Marsh. See your style. Grab your size from behind. That’s it! Painless! Besides? I’m not sure you care or should I write here about it, anyway, on their website, when you shop online, if you want to contact them, you don’t have to spent half a day looking for their e-mail than another half trying to outsmart their phone robot to connect you to live person. Address, e-mail and phone number are at the bottom of the page - just as they should! Called them. Live person at first try, knowing what it doing at that. No robots. Little thing which makes life so much easier. Wow what a great store .I recently checked out this store for my son 1st visit then approx a week later I brought my son to pick out what he likes for himself . What a wonderful experience both visits were , We were helped mainly by I think the manager he was amazing he just looked at my son and guessed his size and he was 100% spot on , My son has special needs and he was excellent with him my son is very sensitive to how things feel and these clothes are comfortable soft and excellent quality so much better than online stores like king size , If they don't have your size they are so quick to order it for you and have it sent right to your door in less than a week both times ! We were also helped by other store associates whom I want to give praise to as they were also amazing and wonderful . Shortly after arriving home I overheard my son calling a few of his friends and telling them that they should shop their because you have nice workers that like to help you . Shopped at the Dedham, MA store. The manager, first, was very well dressed, as were all the other associates, and were all very friendly. One of the associates asked if I needed to be measured and at the time I was a little confused with the measurements as they were too low. I'm a 50 and he measured 48 waist. My neck is 20 and he measured 18. He was a bit tight with his measuring. Almost choked me around my neck and almost couldn't breathe when he measured my waist. He needs to be a little looser. The manager introduced himself and asked if I wanted to try the new Fitmap system and I did it. The measurements using the tape measure were wrong. Just a fyi. The associate was too heavy handed. (I'm still waiting on an email with the measurements...)

Other than that I had a good experience in the store but I will say a lot of the same clothing in multiple brands. More variety would be nice. Same color jeans in multiple brands. Felt like. There was no variety...
