If I could give this ONE STAR, I would. If you ever get a crew member named Kasey, turn around, walk out, save your time and happiness but most importantly your money. I went trough this Panera’s drive through, I ordered a pick two of a Mac and cheese & a bowl of soup, and a lemonade. Now when a i drove up to the window, not only was I overcharged for my meal, I did not receive a receipt. After a moment of calculating the total, I realized something was wrong. I went onto the Panera mobile app and redid my order learning I was overcharged $3. I didn’t want to stress to much about $3 but knowing that I was overcharged and not given a receipt, it made me think this was intentional.
When I went into the restaurant I waited OVER 20 minutes to be told how they couldn’t find a receipt for my transaction. After dealing with multiple servers other than a manager, the server, Kasey came out to speak to me. Kasey was absolutely downright rude and has no problem calling the customer a liar. She proceeded to tell me how she handed me a receipt, the amount she charged me, and what I ordered. Now after having to tell Kasey several times what I had originally ordered, I was surprised to her telling me a completely incorrect order. It took the manager coming over after 10 more minutes of going back and fourth with this specific individual. The manager asked me for the receipt, I told her I wasn’t given one, then and only then did Kasey catch herself within her lie and start to tell the ”truth” to the situation. She started to explain how she had forgotten to give me a receipt (but she just said not to long ago how she gave me a receipt).
The crew members SHOULD NOT be lying on the customers especially when THEY MESSED UP. After waiting over 25 minutes for $3, I finally received it. If you want to be overcharged, then go to this location. If you want to be called a liar, then go to this location. If you want a crew that obviously does not want to be there but they do want a paycheck, then you sure have gone to the right place. This location will mess up your order in a heartbeat (From previous experiences). I love Panera Bread and to be treated the way I was treated today was absolutely horrible. After taking my order told me that we were out of BBQ sauce for two of the sandwiches I ordered. She never offered an alternative option. I asked her what is the house sauce, she said "I don't know" So I picked Chipotle when feeling rushed to pick a sauce. I proceeded to the window where she took my payment then I waited at that Drive-Thru window for 13 minutes. Tabitha never checked in once to say we are backed up or apologize for the wait although there wasn't a car in front or behind me at the Drive-Thru lane. I don't mind waiting for my order if I was a dining-in. I was in the Drive-Thru for a reason - fast service. After the long wait, Tabitha comes back and says" here you go" so I commented that's an awful long time. Tabitha said "Do you want to come back here and help us?" I was shocked at her response instead of apologizing, she was disrespectful. I said becareful how she speaks to me. That's when she said "Have a nice day" and closed the window in my face. I looked in my bag to find the bowl of soup that I ordered was half full. I wented to park my car and go in there for a full refund but I was so pressed for time that I left extremely upset. Tabitha has a terrible, rude and disrespectful attitude. But would have rectified the wait, was an acknowledgment of my time as a valued patron by just saying I apologize for the wait. Seeing other reviews on Tabitha on this platform does not surprise me. What surprises me is why isn't Panera coaching her on customer service. Read moreCurrently having a terrible experience. I arrived and hour and fifteen minutes before close. When I arrived the service at the counter was subpar with a girl who very much did not care to be at work, very obviously. The place is dirty and additionally completely out of almost all bread and also chips! The kiosks said they were out of all bread probably to discourage any more customers but when I inquired they did still have some bread. I didn't want an apple with my salad so I had to forgo the side. Who I was with said an apple was fine but she didn't get one with her meal. And we didn't ask because they were not friendly and starting to close! At an hour to close they are mopping and vacuuming! In fact a gentleman stood behind me and mopped under my chair! As I'm eating! I do NOT want the smell of chemicals while I eat. The kitchen is very obviously closing and I feel so rushed and like an inconvenient part of the day to them. Then as I'm finishing what looks to be a manager is sulking around, obviously frustrated, also yelling at employees and giving harsh closing commands in the kitchen. as I am leaving the staff is out in the dining room doing closing tasks and chatting and acted as if I didn't even exist.
