4.9.22: Finally received my washer and dryer purchased in December, 2021. 12. 22: I just received a call from Home Depot delivery..they would be here in 20 minutes with my new washer. I struggled to get the guy to understand that Nick called the day before canceling the delivery. I have lost faith in GE and Home Depot. I truly regret purchasing the new washer and dryer! 3.11.2022 Update: The saga continues. The new replacement, replacement washer and dyer were supposed to be delivered tomorrow. I received the call today informing me the delivery would not take place due to the dryer arriving at the warehouse broken. Seriously? The first dyer arrived at the warehouse broken. How cheaply made is this GE dryer? I am really frustrated with GE and Home Depot. I wish I had never ordered the washer and dryer. I wish I had gone to Lowes! They are promising the replacement, replacement, replacement washer and dryer in 2 weeks.
2.19.2022: The replacement washer and new dryer were supposed to be delivered today. Unfortunately, Home Depot called to let me know they had 2 washers and NO DRYER. FRUSTRATED....YOU BET! I will never buy a major appliance from Home Depot again!!!
1.17.2022: The new washer and dryer were supposed to be delivered today. Unfortunately, the new dryer arrived broken. The delivery guys took no care bringing in the new washer and scratched both sides. I requested they put my old washer and drying back, but they damaged my old washer removing it, and it could no longer be used.
12.2021: Shout out to Lesia in the appliance department for outstanding customer service! I went with my son so he could purchase a washer and dryer for his house. I was so impressed with her knowledge and assistance she offered my son, I purchased a new washer and dryer for myself!

Delivery guys came in and installed the rest of my appliances (stove, microwave, fridge). They say they can’t install the dishwasher because they need their plummer to come install something first. Okay, no problem.
A week later I’m given a 4 hour window when the plummer will be by. I work from home because of course it falls in a very inconvenient time. Guy shows up an hour AFTER the 4 hour window. Didn’t bring an installer with him, so installs a piece that takes 2 minutes and leaves. Says Home Depot will call to schedule the dishwasher installation.
After weeks of waiting because they never called, I call Home Depot to set up the installation. Now they tell me too much time has passed and they can’t do the install. They at least refund me the installation and haul away.
Luckily I have a friend who can do the install. He does shock himself in the process but was fine. Was a tricky install.
I call Home Depot and ask them to haul away my old dishWasher. Seems like the least they could do to make this experience right. I’ve called multiple times and left messages for the appliance manager (Ryan) who won’t call me back.
At this point, I’m going to pay someone else to haul it away just to get this dishwasher out of here. But Home Depot has lost a customer for life. Can’t believe the way I was treated after spending thousands of dollars on...

All other pieces are gone and the model I was looking at was only a display piece. The next available piece was 24 mins drive from there and I dont want to do that. I asked the shop boy if he can give me a discount for the display piece. He checked with his immediate supervisor and gave $50 discount. Which was still only $20 discount compared to the competitor. Then he said for further discount he need to call his manager. Then comes the manager who was in his late 50's and gave some dialogues that its a self propelling one and all. He gave an additional discount of $25. I asked is that the final price and cannot reduce it, since it is not a boxed item. He said "take it or leave it else I am going to go back to $50 discount"... arrogance at the peak. He could have politely declined. I was not having other options since homedepot was out of stock for most of the lawn mowers and I need one badly the next day. I purchase it, with the homedepot card. I like homedepot and purchase most of the items for my new home from homedepot only.
