Hooters of Mason really didn't give a Hoot from the kitchen !
My wife and I went to Hooters of Mason to have dinner since we were staying next door at the Drury Inn.
We felt welcomed when we went in by the hostess and we're seated quickly to our booth.
We ordered our drinks and ordered our meals. Our meals were both the same which was the Twisted Texas Melt with the side choice of onion rings.
The food came out fairly quickly to us and we noticed a problem right off the bat. We didn't have any of the Daytona sauce on our melts. The melts were dry almost cold and looked terrible. We asked the server for the Daytona sauce and told her that the melts looked terrible. However we were pretty much ignored to the fact of us not being pleased. She brought back the Daytona sauce and we placed it on the cold melts and attempted to eat them. We really could not get more then half way thru the brick.
The onion rings were ok,but again another product that was over cooked. Which was a huge disappointment to us both. The brand was just not speaking for itself here in Mason.
We placed a order of 20 original wings to go in attempt to hopefully have something better to eat back at our room.
However this too was a huge swing and miss by Mason Hooters. Our wings were raw and we had to throw away 20 wings due to them being undercooked.
This is a huge issue for food borne illness and if we didn't try to consume these at 2 am at our room and had to leave bright and early I would have brought them back to the store and asked for a refund.
So beware of subpar food, and possible raw chicken,and or over cooked beef patties.
This is one Hooters store that I will fly right on by.

When we got there they had a medical emergency with one of their workers which I am truly sorry about never would wish that on anyone however instead of management handling that and workers work they were all huddled in the back neglecting the 2 tables in the restaurant. It took 45 minutes just to get our bar drinks and reason we got them is because I went to the bar 3 times to get them. Our food sat in the expo window and got cold by time it got to us over an hour after we ordered it. Spoke to the manager and he said nothing he could do about it. System was down so our bill free anyways. Then when we went to go leave my mother tripped and fell out of the booth bc it was a step down and no where is it stated to watch your step. She fell on the floor and laid on the floor for a couple minutes struggling to get up and not a single worker came over to help or check on her. When I went back in to ask for an incident report they brought back the wrong form and I informed him of that so he went back to get the right one and of the servers who was taking pictures of the booth informed us it wasn’t their fault she fell. They proceeded to call the cops on us saying we were drunk and unruly. When all I did was ask for an incident report because that’s how things work In a restaurant when someone injures themselves. I am a manager at another restaurant and how that place is ran is a damn joke and needs a major refresh and restaff and better management if I could give them negative stars I would!
