About 15 minutes from downtown Cincinnati. Lots of restaurants and shops nearby. Good location. Close to the freeway. Plenty of parking. They offer free breakfast and it’s not just cereal and muffins. They have Belgian waffle makers with 2 flavors of waffle batter, eggs, sausage, bagels, English muffins, cereal, hard boiled eggs, yogurt, hot cereal, coffee, tea, juice, milk, and water. The young man working during breakfast (7a-10a) was extremely attentive, kind, and efficient. He kept the dining area stocked and clean throughout the duration of breakfast and even assisted me when I was figuring out how to use the waffle maker. The service is excellent. The bed was soft and comfortable. There were plenty of pillows and they were very comfortable. The bedding was clean and neat. There was plenty of storage space in the dressers. Everything worked properly and was clean. I was actually impressed at the cleanliness. Sometimes you go to hotels and you can see in the corners or around the furniture that the cleaning isn’t done so completely but here everything was very clean, even in the bathroom. I was very happy with the cleanliness. They also had plastic blockers under the dressers blocking things from rolling underneath which I love because we have a toddler. I always need a fridge and microwave in a hotel room so I love that they have that. There was very good lighting and the air works well. The room was wonderful. The whole hotel was very clean. You could see that they were constantly keeping up with the cleaning. It’s a small hotel but the weekend was stayed was sold out because of the concert as well as multiple Sports tournaments so it’s still a big job to keep the place clean and they were amazing. The staff were extremely welcoming and polite. Everytime we needed something (towels, toilet paper) they got it for us right away. They were all kind, efficient and professional. The toilet water pressure was a little weak and there was a slightly bad smell from the sink drain in the room. I feel that when booking, the website should provide more pictures of the rooms and clearer descriptions of the rooms. There was some confusion/miscommunication about what...

Read moreI never thought I would be someone who would complain about a hotel experience, and yet here I am. The lady working at the front desk was very kind and did everything she could, but the state of the rooms was just too much for anyone to overcome. We reserved a room with a king bed and pull out couch. The room set up itself was great, but the general cleanliness left much to be desired. I understand hotels get used. Stains happen. Marks on the wall happen. A random bug happens. My dismay was with the overall amount of these things in one room. Multiple stains on a very busy carpet pattern, a large crack in the bathtub that made me wonder how much it would leak when the water ran, and 3 large beetle bugs seen within 5 minutes of being in the room, not to mention a dried pepperoni on the floor. Then, the toilet didn't flush. We notified the front desk, and she moved us to the room next door, which was fine that we had to move. However, when we pulled the pull out couch up, an old coffee cup lid fell out, and then visibly dirty sheets were still on the mattress. Shredded cheese, crumbs galore, and a stain that I am hoping was from some kind of meat, but realistically looked like blood were all over. I tried to wrap my head around someone just forgetting to check if the couch had been used, but the sheets on the made king bed were also dirty. So, someone either just made the bed without changing the sheets or put dirty sheets on. I don't know, but I wasn't going to sleep in them. We received fresh linens when we told the front desk, but at that point, nobody was going to get a refreshing night's sleep there, wondering what else had or had not been cleaned and if the bugs from the adjoining room would be migrating our way. The hotel itself seems like it gets a lot of foot traffic and needs a good spring cleaning. We ended up checking out and not staying the night because with the overall lack of cleanliness in both of the rooms we experienced, it left me feeling too anxious about what had actually been cleaned. I hope others have a...
