My recent stay at this hotel was hands-down the worst hotel experience I have ever encountered. Upon arrival, I was assigned a room on the third floor. After enduring an exceptionally slow elevator ride, I entered the room with the keys provided by the front desk, only to find a couple intimately engaged (naked butt up in the air going at it) and their clearly distressed dog upset by my unexpected entry. I immediately exited, deeply embarrassed, and returned to the lobby. Shockingly, instead of an apology, the front desk initially made me feel as if it was my fault for entering the room, despite using the keys they themselves had given me. The representative claimed the room "should have been empty," though it clearly was not. The room also smelled heavily of marijuana and was visibly dirty. The front desk then assigned me another room on the fourth floor, but after another painfully slow elevator ride, I found neither key worked. Frustrated, I returned again to the lobby, where another guest—not the hotel staff—informed me that the indoor pool I specifically chose the hotel for was closed. When I questioned the front desk clerk, he incorrectly insisted he had informed me about this earlier. After reminding him that our earlier interaction involved giving me keys to an occupied room, he openly admitted to being severely understaffed and overwhelmed, even explicitly blaming management for refusing to update the hotel’s website about the pool closure to avoid reducing bookings. Once I finally gained entry into my room on the third try, it was nothing like the photos advertised. Instead of carpeting, there was dirty laminate flooring covered in stains and dried spills of questionable origin. The toilet seat was disgusting, stained with urine and an unidentified red spot. Worse still, the bed linens were covered in dirty footprints from shoes. The room’s main light didn’t work at all, though fortunately, the desk and bed lamps did. I ultimately resorted to using my own blankets from my car to sleep because I did not trust the cleanliness of the bedding provided. In the morning, the breakfast area was similarly disappointing—there were no plates available, food options were extremely limited, and even the juice machine was out of order. Adding insult to injury, bags of trash that were piled in the hallway upon my arrival remained untouched in the exact same place the next morning, a clear indicator of poor housekeeping and neglect. To date, despite requesting that General Manager Rozy Patel contact me regarding this incident, I have received no response or acknowledgement from hotel management. Furthermore, my initial review posted publicly over 11 days ago has been completely ignored by the hotel. Typically, my hotel stays receive positive reviews, as I understand the challenges hospitality staff often face. However, this experience was so extraordinarily poor, with staff and management showing zero accountability or concern, that it warranted a rare negative review. The blatant disregard for guest satisfaction, the obvious understaffing, management failures, and lack of basic cleanliness make this hotel one to absolutely avoid until they undergo significant changes. Do yourself a favor and choose accommodation elsewhere. I've included photos of the mystery stains on the floor, linen, and toilet.

It is what it is. We got here. Entryway seems nice and all that. We get room 420. Slide the card in the door, first thing we see? An un-made bed. Everyone halts! I look to my left, a wash cloth on the floor. Did they give us someone's room? (It was empty) It looks like a room that's in use. So of course, back to the front desk. The guy says that housekeeping signed off on that room for being cleaned. Umm I don't know how to fold a fitted sheet but I know that room wasn't cleaned. So they gave us a different room on the same floor. Cons: the previous room experience of course, the bed was rock hard and I couldn't get a decent amount of sleep at all, smoke alarm looked like it has seen better days (like that of the 70s), walls are paper thin, the phone didn't work, the bathroom was not friendly for those looking for a shower (no place to lay your belongings), tv/cable was difficult as I had a hard time trying to find the channel I was looking for. Remote was old or something else idk and TV didn't have a display on what channel you were on. You more or less had to guess. Also, they tried to overcharge us like $30. Then when we tried to talk to the manager (who said that he would be there in the morning) about it, he conveniently isn't working on the day of checking out. So someone else who works in hotel checks it out for us. Pros: AC was cold(although the thermostat on the wall didn't work and it was done by the actual unit), breakfast had plenty of options. It was next door to Hooters and I love their wings. All in all, I'll be paying more to stay elsewhere next time. This was my cheap husband's pick.

RACIST !!!!!!! DO NOT EVER BOOK HERE On December 9, 2017 I was booked to stay at the hotel for my daughter 13th birthday and a few of her friends. We arrived to the the hotel around 9:00p.m. We were not in the room a full 10 minutes when we received a phone call from the front desk asking if we were having a party because there was a complaint of loud noise. I told her we had just gotten to the room so how was that even possible. They said that is what they were told. I said it wasn’t us. Later on in the evening the kids wanted to swim. The pool closed at 11:00p.m my kids went to the pool at 10:30p.m and Tammy the front desk clerk decided to shut the pool down 20 minutes early. They got to swim for 5 minutes. She was rude and nasty to the kids and told them they needed to get out now. She refused to give them towels saying no because she had to go to the laundry area and didn’t feel like it. I went down to front desk after they came back to the room shivering and cold and wet and asked her why the pool was shut down early. Tammy the front desk clerk said her manager told her to close it. I asked why she had refused to give them towels. She said it was because she had just given towels to a lady. I told her that had nothing to do with me and we are not with the other back family at this hotel nor do we know them. I then asked to speak to manager and she replied that that manager was not available at this time of night. I asked her why did the manger call up there and have her close it early she said she didn’t know, but stated the manager was able to watch the camera from her home. I let that go. I went back down to the front desk later on to get some soap and towels that we didn’t have and Tammy rudely asked how many people were staying. I told her 4 were staying. Originally I had a double bed for 4 people but she told me earlier when I checked in that the king suite was with sofa was couch was larger so I had switched. She then told me that only two people could be in the room now and that if we didn’t leave now she would call the police. I left the desk before I became upset and when I went back to the room she called minutes later and said she would call the police on me if I didn’t leave. I went back down to the desk and asked her what what be the reason she was calling the police and became upset because we had done nothing wrong. I asked her to show me documentation that said only two people could be in the room. She went to the back, I thought to check but shortly after that the police arrived. The police heard my side and also her side but she told them her manager wanted us gone. The manager could not be contacted and the police said we had to leave. She had a smirk on her face the entire time. I told her she had ruined my daughters birthday. This was nothing but discrimination. I was both sad and upset my daughter birthday was ruined. We were kicked out the hotel for no reason. Laquita Inn is Racist!!!! I will never use this hotel again and you should not either. Especially the one...

Upon entering the room, I found moldy pizza in the refrigerator. The refrigerator also didn't work. The light in the sink area did not work. The bathroom hadn't been cleaned as there was hair all over the bathtub and floor and some stains on the tub. The TV and microwave did not work. This was after I pulled the power strip up from the floor to actually turn it on. Even after turning on the power strip, neither the TV or microwave worked.

I called and asked for the bathroom to be cleaned and the light to be fixed. The front desk lady said it would be taken care of. The light in the bathroom area did come on when we returned to our room later that day but the bathroom was not cleaned.

One of the staff members who was sweeping up in the breakfast area proceeded to help himself to some breakfast items and then sat down in the lobby and watched CNN.

It also appears as though some staff members live at the hotel as a woman in pajamas was seen entering an employee only area. There were also two staff members in a room across the hall from us who were doing clerical work on the computer with the door open.

The shower also didn't have the inside plastic curtain. It only had the outside fabric curtain. As a result, the floor was always wet after showers. I slipped attempting to step into the shower. As I tried to catch my balance, I further slipped on the wet floor and tumbled backwards, scraping my arm and leg in the process.

At one point, I requested and was given two new bath towels from the front desk. A hair ball was found in one of them upon returning to the room.

The staff also used driveway sealer to attempt to fill in some cracks in the driveway. It didn't work. A few of our friends stepped in it and got it on their shoes. Later that day, a staff member was observed trying to burn the sealer off of the parts of the driveway where it had been tracked.

A friend also had no remote for the TV. When he attempted to call to the lobby, he found that the phone wire had been cut. He had to call on his cell phone about the phone and remote. A remote was brought to his room. But, upon turning on the TV, the only thing he saw was a no signal message on all of the inputs. The phone wire was not repaired.

The breakfast food was pretty good and the free water was a nice touch. The lobby area itself was also clean and was a good spot to hang out when not at basketball games. There were also a lot of restaurants and stores close by. Those were a few bright spots in an otherwise poor experience. Unfortunately, I would not recommend this...
