The first brow wax I had with Sheila was great! She was very nice and took me last minute. I had originally gone down the street to my other eyebrow threading lady to find she went out of business. So I really appreciated them taking me last minute at Ulta. Sheila did mention normally that didnāt happen. I scheduled an appointment for the next waxing I needed. I had an appointment that day that ran super late and I wasnāt able to call to let them know at Ulta. Knowing how nice they were the first time I decided to go and see if maybe they would still take me if any appointment didnāt show up. But I knew it was a long shot because I didnāt show up for my scheduled time. When I got there I asked if she was there and wanted to just check and see if I could still get it done. But I made it very clear I knew I missed my appointment and that if she couldnāt it was not a problem or if she was on break I could wait. I thought I saw her in the other aisle but wasnāt sure. So the I guess assistant manager came and checked her schedule and said she was booked⦠and that she wasnāt in the building. Again I thought right before she was in the other aisle and looked at me⦠but I wasnāt sure⦠the assistant tried to get me to make another appointment but I said I would be out of town. And I was sorry I missed my appointment but I was stuck at another one. He looked like he was fake pitying me⦠and when I walked away again the brow tech was even close and looked freaked that I was gonna recognize herā¦. Now I can understand I missed my appointment and that you canāt take me⦠but donāt lie to my face saying sheās not there⦠when she looked me in the eyes twice!! If she couldāve just told me herself that wouldāve been fine.. I wouldāve accepted that, but they were both very unprofessional and I will never get services there again. I never do reviews but I really didnāt like how they handled the situation and felt others needed to know in case it...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreReview of the Salon: Iāll start out by saying I used to go into Ulta at least once a week, spending a lot of $ since Iām an esthetician & skincare junkie. That is until I decided to try out the salon. After that experience, back in December, I havenāt been able to go back and support them in any way.
My experience: When I went in one day I spoke to a girl at the salon that made me feel so comfortable that I scheduled an appointment w/her. My hair was very long, fine, & dirty blonde that hadnāt been touched in over a year and a half since I moved from Atlanta. We had talked about what I wanted beforehand and she assured me it would be no problem. When I got there she decided to do a full highlight that took her from 3pm-10:30pm (7 1/2hrs) and when she was done she knew it wasnāt right & asked me to come in the next day to fix it. I went in at 12pm the next day & she decided to do a full bleach and at 6:30pm she finished & sent me home w/wet hair because she said she had somewhere to be (6 1/2 hours). The time wasnāt even near the worst part. I now believe she āhad somewhere to beā because she was so scared of what she saw and didnāt know what to do. I got home and was in absolute shock and tears when I started having large chucks of my hair falling out. LOST HALF OF MY HAIR!! Now, 6mo later, and thousands spent on hair treatments and vitamins trying to salvage what little was left, I still have to wear my hair in a bun with tons of clips because most of my hair on the crown of my head is about 4inches now. I also had to shave the back of my hair because it was too far gone.
My salon visit at Ulta not only completely damaged my hair, and wallet, it damaged my self esteem and still does to this day. I only hope for other peoples sake that they never have to go through what I...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI just got off work, rush to ulta delray beach 30 minutes before they closed, once arrived i was happy that they were still open, they greet me i greet them back with a smile on my face .I was one out of the three shoppers in that store while searching and reading labels from an amazing skin care product recommended to me by a friend I WAS FOLLOWED ! I heard the manager yell at the security guard ,but i didn't think anything of it , while taking my time to carefully read the labels due to my sensitive skin, abruptly.... the security guard just start on following and staring at me everywhere betwen three foot distance in that store, looking at me straight in the eyes like i 'm some sort of criminal or a mutated animal species they never seen before š I couldn't believe it neighther focus on what I truly needed, as i looked around no one else has been followed but me, I was very confused š š¤ Then, I started questioning myself the following : Was i doing something wrong ? m'i not welcome ? do they want me out ? is it due to my complexion? mind you ! I'm not not the kind to put up the race card unfortunately I couldn't finish my entire shopping list, i felt so uncomfortable, I just purchased the brushes/ISL perfumes that was already in my hands ready to be paid for and left. I since go to a sephora nearby and other beauty stores where I'm not followed and stared at , got the same skin and make-up products. ULTA DO BETTER I understand the crazy toxic shoplifters going on .Train your managers to be more professional , and can't add me into a...
