I live in Wellington about 2 miles from the Fit2Run store inside the mall. However, I wanted to have the 3-D foot scan done so I recently drove all the way to east Delray to the Fleet Feet store. I was able to have the scan done almost immediately and then Kyle patiently explained the results to me. For nearly my entire adult life I've worn a size 9.5 shoe, but Kyle pointed out that my feet are now a size 10 (I've since read that as you get older your arches begin to settle. Additionally, I'm running more mileage now than at any point in my life.) This info allowed Kyle to suggest a size 10.5 shoe so I'd have room for my toes to splay. If I hadn't seen the scan for myself and had been told I needed a size 10.5, I would've questioned the accuracy of the manufacturer's sizing of the shoe. I've since run about 30 miles in the new shoes and my feet feel good. Kyle said he's worked there for four years. I'm pretty sure than if I'd gone to the Fit2Run store at the Wellington mall instead of driving to Delray, I would've been waited on by a part-time high school student, or the manager with the straight blond hair who always tries too hard to upsell me on socks, clothes, etc. So despite not being the closest running shoe store by a long shot, the Fleet Feet store was well worth the drive...
Read moreI hate having to write this but I’m pretty disappointed in my experience today. My family and friends have told me such great things about this store so I was really looking forward to coming here to get a new pair of sneakers! Unfortunately the experience I had was lacking any type of care or information. I completely understood waiting an hour to get a fitting and foot profile. It’s a Saturday, so that’s to be expected. My sales associate Sabrina was really not friendly or helpful at all and I’m not sure if she was just having a rough day or she’s usually like this, but I could get more help from google in finding a sneaker that works for me. She gave me no input, or information or even asked how the shoes were fitting. I’m not sure why she didn’t care but it was such an uncomfortable and off putting experience and I felt like I was inconveniencing her by asking any questions. I could hear other guests and employees having such personalized care and a great dialogue to find them the right fit but I did not receive that type of care. I’ve worked customer service and retail jobs most of my life and I understand it’s an exhausting and thankless job so please know I generally have so much patience and sympathy but this was just...
Read moreI used to recommend this store to many people! They do a great job analyzing your feet to get you the perfect fitting shoe! I used to work here for over a year and even after my time of leaving, I put in a great word about the business! I’m disappointed to find out the new operator Hannah has spoken poorly about me around the community and has continuously gossiped false rumors of me leaving the company. To set matters straight - yes I left because after working for this company for over a year Hannah abruptly changed the schedule and was clearly power tripping being in charge and was not nice or friendly to work for AT ALL. I definitely could’ve left in a nicer way but Hannah could’ve been nicer in general and maybe then she would’ve gotten more than a no show and the keys left at the back door, but I did it and I’d do it again if I had to work with her again. Also when I left, so did the ENTIRE staff excluding one worker who is AMAZING and I definitely would get fit from him and that’s Mike! Love you lots Mike. Great store- definitely would recommend getting fit by Mike or Barbara. They’re nice people :) Hannah is fake nice and just wants your money - no need to respond to this- just stop talking about...
