If you ever had chiles rellenos, you won’t like the ones from here I can assure you, is like someone took the name too literal, they roast the peppers and stuff them with some cheese (didn’t even bother peeling them) they cut so many corners with this dish that is a disgrace to real chilles rellenos. Also, their “chicken” pozole is really good but it might be a problem if you have dietary restrictions since is not made with chicken, not sure why their menu is wrong and they don’t tell you when you order. Their chips are stale and lastly, the girl at the counter does not like her job at all or maybe she was just unhappy cuz its Friday and she didn’t want to be there but she had the most monotone attitude I ever seen (besides my daughter when she’s force to clean her room)

I go there regularly for dine-in or take-out. The menu is diversified and always includes fresh chips and salsa bar. My favorite dish is “The Zone“, a fresh and delicious plate of chicken, rice and beans, salad tossed in lemony dressing and pico de gallo. Prices have remain very reasonable, even after Covid (2020) and the recent inflation (2022): $9.95! Kelly, the owner/manager, is a terrific lady. She is always smiling and friendly with her customers. And she manages her staff with kindness and efficiency. Great place!

My wife has a business function at our home and had Zona Fresca cater it. For a $20 charge, they delivered and set everything up. We had a taco bar with steak and chicken plus A condiment bar consisting of jack and cheddar cheese, shredded cabbage, guacamole, sour cream, jalapenos, and pico de gallo. Corn tortillas, Black beans and rice, and Chips and salsa. A large salad, 2 -2 liters of soda and napkins, plates, and utensils. Also a party platter with premade Mexican foods. Very nice and good.

I am writing to formally share an incident that left me deeply disappointed and uncomfortable at your Delray Beach Zona Fresca location on Linton Blvd.

Today, I walked in holding my 5lb Pomeranian in my arms. I politely asked the cashier, Nathalia, for a cup of water. Before I could even finish my request, she cut me off by loudly stating “no pets are allowed,” referencing the sign on the door. I want to be clear: I fully respect your policy. I had no intention of dining inside and only planned to quickly get water and leave—just as I saw two other families with dogs waiting outside.

What troubled me was not the policy, but the manner in which Nathalia addressed me. She refused to provide water and did so by raising her voice in front of other customers. She told me to “drop the dog” on the floor if I wanted water, and when I did not respond to this demeaning instruction, she suddenly shifted and offered to “meet me halfway” by getting the water herself while I held my dog.

At this point, I took a photo of the location because I felt the situation was escalating and inappropriate. When Nathalia noticed, she became irate, snatched back the water, and sarcastically instructed me to “make sure you tell corporate my name is Nathalia and spell it right!”

I left feeling not only humiliated but also concerned that her treatment may have carried racial undertones. As a Black woman, I cannot ignore how her tone and demeanor toward me felt particularly dismissive and hostile in a way that went beyond enforcing company policy.

My husband and I are regular customers who live within walking distance, and I’ve always appreciated having Zona Fresca as part of our neighborhood. This experience, however, was jarring and has shaken my trust in the brand’s commitment to respect and hospitality.

I am bringing this to your attention because I believe no customer should be spoken to or treated in such a way. I ask that this matter be reviewed seriously and addressed appropriately so that other patrons don’t endure the same experience.

Thank you for taking the time to hear my concerns. I look forward to...

I'm not sure how I haven't wrote a review here yet. I have dined here several times. They're guacamole is delicious, and does not have raw onions. It is always fresh as well. I absolutely love their salsa bar, my favorite is the Salsa Fresca. It has so much flavor and is not that spicy either. I add it to my tacos everytime, as well as some fresh squeezed limes. The chicken taco is pretty good, I love that it has nopales (cactus). It was my first time ever having cactus actually. I like how it tastes, it is a little bitter and for the most part tasteless. It is kind of slimy like okra but I like the texture of it in the tacos. The Barbacoa taco with pulled beef is delicious as well. The roasted jalapeños and cotija cheese give it great flavor. My absolutely favorite is the fish taco!!! I get the dressing/sauce on the side because sometimes it comes with a lot and it makes the taco cold. The cabbage is perfect with the fish taco and so fresh and crunchy. Anytime I'm craving a fish taco I come here. Their cilantro rice and black or pinto beans are just like any others, fine. I will say, the only thing that bothers me slightly is everytime I go, the soft drink area always has tons of nats flying around and that is very off putting and a sign of those drink spouts not being cleaned. Other than that,...
