I'm a server and I started working at Longhorns Steak House. We have a dress code and I went shopping for a long sleeve, black, Oxford dress shirt. I found one at a JC Pennies and as a girl whose kind of thick up top đ¤ I went to the men's department. When I got home and tried it on my son said it looked ok. I wore it today and it didn't exactly stand up to the test. Went back to the mall with my mind set on running back into Pennies and grab a larger size. As I was quickly walking I noticed a store and there were 2 men standing there talking and I kept walking. Something told me to turn around and go back and I'm glad I did. It was approximately 6:35 and the mall closes at 7. I didn't want to interrupt the 2 men so I just kind of stood there. I was acknowledged and I let the gentleman know what I was looking for. He quickly solved my shirt dilemma but I need him to know he did more than that. Mr. Worthy, I was apprehensive about starting at a $3 billion/yr company. Yes, I'm a server and I've worked at 4/5 star restaurants before but it's been quite some time. I was questioning myself if I really wanted to "level up" again or stay at Bob Evans where I was at. When you wrapped the shirt and said you were "gifting" it to me, it was at that moment I knew God answered my prayers and I was making the right decision. I cannot thank you enough but I'm from Chicago and my parents and Nana taught me to recognize when God is moving. Therefore, this post is to you sir!! My son is a runway model and an athlete. You now have a new family of customers for life. Besides, it helped even more because you reminded me of my other son's favorite grade school teacher and his name was Mr. Worthy. Blessings upon Blessings to you and your business and all that you do....
Read moreOrdered several garments from Walk Worthy in May for an upcoming wedding in Marquette at the end of August. Today is August 20th and the wedding is next Monday. Among the garments ordered was a dress shirt that didnât fit and was returned a total of 4 separate times. Mind you, I live in Fowlerville and made the trip to the other side of Lansing every time except once that he mailed the replacement to me. I understand dress shirt sizing is frustrating and I can understand once or twice but come on⌠So fast forward to last Friday. I went to pick up the freshly ordered shirt that once again didnât fit and Aondray told me he had ordered another for me and to pick it up Tuesday and that he opened at noon. I sent a family member to pick it up, and his gate was closed. He then wouldnât answer my phone calls or texts even after I asked for a refund for the shirt that I still havenât received. Iâm very understanding but itâs pretty frustrating that Iâm hunting down a dress shirt last minute and I paid for a shirt from Walk Worthy in MAY that Iâve never even received. Aondray seems like a nice enough guy, but Iâve experienced horrible customer service and I recommend thinking twice before trusting Walk Worthy with...
Read moreI had an excellent experience. Mr. Worthy went above and beyond to ensure that my tux came out how I requested for my wedding - even going as far as delivering some last minute alteration resources to my tailor when I was not able to. If I have any constructive criticism to offer, it is that I hope Mr. Worthy will be more assertive in his consultations going forward. For instance, although I looked damn good, lol, there are some instances in which I could have benefited from him providing more info or suggestions to help influence certain design decisions. Additionally, I would suggest he have some different cuts in different sizes, so that customers can visualize what a suit designed in a particular fashion may look like bc a lot of us have no clue what we are doing or looking for, lol, so seeing it on ourselves prior to designing it may help in the process. Nevertheless, as stated, I had a pleasant experience overall and I look forward to giving more of my business to WalkWorthy Menswear. Check them out. You wonât be disappointed...
