DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY This place was cool when I saw the pictures the trampolines were really stiff and I could see it causing some injuries long term DO NOT GO INTO THE FOAM PITS the foam pits were so shallow and having a pad underneath doesn’t help at all I landed super hard on my back the foam did not help at all prices weren’t bad sky zone lansing is cheap and definitely way safer the slide cut my foot and I got spray with soapy water and the bungie ropes were fun until I got my foot caught into them and got stuck upside down the dodgeballs were really hard not soft at all if a kid gets hit with one of those rubber ones it would hurt and the harness part was cool for 2 mins it just hurts your feet walking on all that stuff the rims were barely padded it looks like they just put one layer off duct tape and called it good but it looked really bad and the biggest attraction there is the ball pit and it has an age limit I don’t see why that’s a thing if they are promoting to all ages there party rooms look pathetic compared to sky zone just a bland room with 2 tables and they have a window seeing into there break room which I saw employees vaping in there it’s not a great place for kids it’s big but half of it is tables and a handful of arcade games and there was no staff over by the trampolines I saw maybe like 1 or 2 over by the harness area maybe this place will be better in the future but with no memberships spending 24$ every time compared to sky zone where it’s better almost in every way and the staff is way better and actually wants you to have a good time and it’s only 22.99$ a month and I can jump every day I would much rather do...
Read moreI am writing to share my recent experience at Funcity during my child's birthday party on October 12,2024 Unfortunately, it was not the celebration we had hoped for, and I believe it's important to bring these issues to your attention.
Upon arrival, we encountered long wait times, which delayed the start of the party. We were told that we didn’t have a party reservation at this location which I had a fully paid receipt for. Once we were finally able to enter the party room we waited for another 45 minutes after going to the service desk several times the party host finally came into the room to give the party their socks and bracelet , we found it overcrowded, making it difficult for the children to enjoy themselves safely. The party host never returned for the rest of the party. We had to go get our own pizza then ask several times for the juice pouches that were part of the party package. I asked to speak to a manager he informed me that they forgot about our party and they were confused. This party cost $457 my son was unable to enjoy his party due to lack of the staff and management. Jumping was suppose to be unlimited we received 30 minutes.
Additionally, the staff seemed overwhelmed and inattentive, which compounded our frustrations. We had issues with the reserved party area not being properly set up, and our pizza order was mixed up, leading to further disappointment.
I had high expectations for this event, especially as it was a special occasion for my child. Unfortunately, the experience fell short, and I felt compelled to share this feedback. I hope you can address...
Read moreI drove to this place under the recommendation of the little guide Metro Detroit. Now was it fun for the kids yes. However the bathrooms were gross even my little toddler said that's nasty. It was Saturday and it was super crowded. So I would say maybe they were under-staffed. There are some things they need to take notes on like the swinging wrecking ball for instance. It is a complete safety hazard because there is a string attached to it so you can pull it back in easier but that thing is a hazard. A child can easily get tangled up in it and again there is no attendant making sure it doesn't happen. Now let's go to slide with the tubes. There is an attendant here but only at the top to spray the bottoms with water. There isn't an attendant at the bottom to pass out the tubes so whoever came down the slide can just keep the same tube and keep riding even if it's a line. Also the heat was still on even though it was an extremely warm day. You would think the AC would be on to try and keep down some of the germs. Everyone playing were a sweaty mess. I didn't even play and ending up sweating a bit due to the crowd and heat. This place was too chaotic for my taste as a mom with a small kid. It's ok for older kids but the two shouldn't be mixed at all. The ball pit was overrun with older kids knocking the smaller ones over. Maybe if they hire more workers things would run a lot smoother. I don't think I'll be back though my anxiety...
