We really wanted to like this place. But more thought was put into the decor than the execution of the interesting menu. The comfort utilitarian atmosphere was inviting as was our waitress/bartender.

Menu has old favorites and new twists.

We had the Brussels sprouts with bacon and glaze. We thought how exciting! The Brussels were over and under done at same time. And overall taste was of old cooking oil. I tried to appreciate the brunt edges but overall the Brussels were so tasteless, none of that sharp or sweet cabbage flavor a Brussels should have. The centers were tough. I finally gave up eating them and I rarely leave food. The bacon bits on the brussels were so crisp it powdered on the bite. The glaze flat....added nothing to the dish. Neither did the garlic dipping sauce. Again it lacked flavor, finesse. I really wanted to like Brussels sprout appetizer but just could not.

Our wings were not battered which was a plus because we try to be gluten free although I did not ask if they are floured. The flavor was good. Cajun dry seasoning and hot sauce over well coked wings. The size was standard. For the price I expected to be wowed. They were average overall.

Alcoholic beverage options standard basics with few interesting beers on tap. Only gluten free option was Tito's vodka and I am just not a fan.

I would appreciate hours clearly posted by the door. It's hard to tell if this place was open or not. Allergens clearly stated on menu would be appreciated,

First time stopping in & the food was good. We ordered the Bleu Bayou with kettle chips and the Piggly Wiggly with sweet potato puffs. $32 for these and our drinks (coke, ice tea).

Our waitress was friendly, but the service was a little slow. We ordered just after a party of 8, so we expected a small wait, and the food came out about 20 minutes after we ordered; this was NOT because of the waitress. She did check on us halfway through our meal. However, we did have to wait for her to come back inside the building & wait a little longer to get the bill & pay it. This would not prevent us from stopping in again.

The atmosphere was average. It appeared to be a few regular patrons at the primary bar with a mix of others spread throughout. We sat ourselves at a low table, but they also had a middle bar, high tops, and a patio. We were kind of chilly (that's just us), so we would have liked to try the patio; maybe next time.

Overall, I think it's worth stopping in and giving it a try. Maybe I'll try their Brussels sprouts and ...

They do a shift change and think their judgement parallels the previous employee. Don't expect to spend an extended period of time at this or any of their locations based on hospitality. At home just fine after Brittany made me look bad. She was overly intrusive and interrupted a conversation and i went a block down the road to get another draft anyways. Don't tip Brittany, she is young with the dermal piercings and a lunatic. Likes to cast judgment on adults and could use many improvements herself. I went above and beyond and tipped the bartender before her out of pocket, as did a good group of patrons around me. Everytime Brittany came around us and our area there was a smell problem.
