HUUUUGE shout out to First Peoples Jewelers on the Square! Over 20 years ago, my husband and I searched high and low for months for these celtic knot wedding bands. No one had what we envisioned and this was before the internet was actually a thing people could use. We finally found what we were looking for at a Renaissance Festival in Colorado wayyyy back in 2000. These rings are gorgeous, with a continuous, uninterrupted knot. Truly a work of art. After 20+ years of marriage, though, my husband's ring needed to be resized. I called the jeweler who made them and found out that the artisan who crafted these had passed away a few years ago, and his widow knew how to make the bands, but didn't know how to resize them without adding a band of gold somewhere in there, which would interrupt the continuous design. We had a trip planned to Ireland over the summer, so I set up a zoom with a jeweler in Dublin to explain what I needed, and even she said it couldn't be done. So we did what any reasonable person would do: we gave up, brought it to First People's, and decided an interrupted celtic knot with a sliver of solid gold to expand it was better than a wedding band that he couldn't wear because it didn't fit anymore. One week later, he got it back. AND THE KNOT IS UNINTERRUPTED AND 100% CONTINUOUS and i am BLOWN away. This is a HARD design to work with, and somehow the brilliant people there did what the specialists we contacted couldn't do. I am THRILLED with what a beautiful job they did, and even happier that my husband can wear this again. 10/10, yall. They did so good. So talented and CLEARLY care about high quality! Give them all your business. They...
Read moreOriginal Facebook review: Y’all, let me start by saying that my fiancé was a recent college graduate with very little money when he purchased my ring and the jewelers there made him feel welcomed and they helped him avoid experiencing “price tag” shock. They showed us the rings in our price range and I fell in love with an engagement/band set right off the bat. I really can’t say enough nice things about this place and the employees there. They are warm, welcoming, and just over the top amazing and I’m so glad we went with them. I can guarantee that you will not go wrong or have any regret if you purchase something from them. I admire my ring all the time and I don’t think I will ever stop. Thank you again, First People’s Jewelers, for just being amazing and so WOW.
Edited review: I have sent a few of my friends to First Peoples Jewelers on the square and they have all had wonderful experiences as well. It is nice to know that no matter what we may need, whether it be an engagement set, a watch repair, or a graduation ring, FPJ has our backs. Thank you again, FPJ, for consistently rising to the top in...
Read moreMy finace and I got engaged 2 days ago and I needed the ring resized. I called FPJ to see if they would resize a ring that wasn't purchased there and they said yes. We went in yesterday 6/23 in the afternoon and they were so friendly and ready to help! They asked questions and seemed genuinely excited about the engagement and complimented the ring more than once. It was less expensive than we thought wich was flipping amazing and the time-line they gave me for the ring being finished was 1 week (2 weeks less than anyone else I called)! Fast forward to today 6/24 and I get a call that my ring is, get this, READY TO BE PICKED UP. I know, I freaked out too! it was less than a 24 hour turn around and I couldn't be happier. Thank you First People's Jewelers for being absolutely amazing, professional, friendly, and so fast!! If anyone reads this and decides to visit there for new jewelry or repair, ask for Jessica, you won't be sorry! We will be back to purchase our wedding bands simply because of the customer service. Thanks again from the bottom...
