Seven Twelve Lofts — Local services in Denton

DO NOT LIVE HERE! My husband and I lived here from July 2018-19. They suck you in with friendly leasing agents and freshly groomed grass to think they are good but then literally as soon as you sign the lease they drop you and forget you or the complex you live in exists. I only saw maintenance once every other month because they would notice a leak that drove up water bills and they would come into your home to try to find it and then leave. I kept a very clean house but constantly found tiny red ants everywhere and when I would require spraying they would send and email saying they would come soon and then randomly show up at your door a month and a half later. Also they knew about they elm street water project since they built the lofts (I called the city of Denton and found out from the project manager themselves) but because the negligence they forgot about it and let their patrons know day of via paper on the door that half of our parking lot was going to be under construction for 8-12 months. They forced us to park in a gross lot in the neighborhood nearby and didn’t compensate us for the loss of security or access to our homes. Dogs would poop everywhere around the grounds and nobody ever came by to clean it up until I aggressively complained. And then they came just once and that was it. This area is dangerous too, the storage units behind the building are the homes of some people who move bicycle parts in and out late at night. Twice my husband saw police chase people into that lot because they were robbing nearby and tried to hide there. My first week a neighbor was walking her dog and got her purse grabbed. Once the gates to the Hallways stopped working and were open to anyone, and a man came in the hallways loudly yelling and banging walls with some object. It’s wayyy too expensive to stay there for what you get. There is zero storage space. 5 cabinets only, no pantry, no Linen closet, the closets are small in the bedroom. Don’t live here, if you are looking i do recommend calling Scott brown i lived in their Bernard street apartments and I never had any of those issues. I don’t work for anyone to write this, I’m just trying to stop someone from the stress and fear I dealt with...

Overall the apartment is nice..Outside stayed dirty. The leasing office is the problem. When I first contacted them Cindy helped me she's super friendly but when I did the application the manager Deborah and Abigail It took me a while to get through the part I had no help and they got frustrated with it and started being rude. Changing me extra just to move in. They were telling me one thing then the next person would tell me another. THEY ARE NOT PUT TOGETHER AT ALL. They made me get my father to apply or pay $500, he spent the money for the app and applied they told him he couldn't get it bc too much is on his credit and ended up charging me $500 to move in. But they still had my daddy on the lease, bills, and called him for any issues with apartment but they told me they couldn't use him? To be honest I will never rent from them again. They charge for every little thing. The apartments had problem with ants really bad all over. They tried charging me $75 for a couch removal that wasn't even mines. It just honestly was a terrible experience when it came to them. They are horrible. be prepared to spend a fortune just to lay your head somewhere and that not just rent. the price of how much you pay on the 1st is never the same. The water changed colors. They didn't even tell us about the construction when we moved in. We literally had no where to park. Every night I would have to park around the corner and walk to the apartment....

Martino group is so mean. The washer in my unit does not work well and they sent technicians who were not able to solve the problem at all. And they threatened me saying that "Please just be aware that if there is nothing wrong with the washer you will be charged for the work order." They should be kind always and be responsible for all the problems in the apartment. The wall is paper thin as well. The hall way is always so dirty with trash, dirt and dead bugs. They don't clean it frequently. Maybe once a month? And when I first moved in here, I requested for the maintenances several times on the website, but they never responded at all and they never came.
