Arc'teryx RiNo — Local services in Denver

Update: finally got refunded after 2 months, in cash, so had to take it to the bank. Don't ever do anything with gift cards at arcteryx and don't expect much from online customer support.

Original review: "Your money will be refunded to your card. No worries!" Buyers and international buyers beware! If you encounter refund or transaction issues with this store, prepare for a nightmare.

Here’s what happened: While shopping in-store for a jacket, we wanted to order two colors that weren’t available. The staff suggested we order them online using their in-store computer. However, their system refused our credit card and wouldn’t load PayPal. They suggested we buy a gift card instead, promising it would be no problem to refund the money back to our original card if we returned one of the items. After confirming and with their assurance we purchased the gift card, which they immediately discarded after use. A week later we came to return the 1 jacket and we were told 972€ will come back to the credit card, but.. the money never came.

Fast forward a month. I've been calling them for 2 weeks now! They refunded the 972€ to the discarded gift card, not the original credit card as promised! Now they claim it was never possible to refund the credit card. I have to keep calling them so this gets moved along, I still have no idea if this money is ever coming back. The finance department now gets to think about it and I’m supposed to wait another 2 weeks. How is this not a priority? It’s €972 of a customer's money gone!! Stopped by Arc’teryx Rino to check out some gear and had a great experience, even though they were having some unexpected POS system issues at the time. I had nowhere to be, so I didn’t mind the wait, and it was great to see how JB, Blake, and Sean handled the situation. They were troubleshooting everything they could, keeping customers updated, and making the best of it—all while filling in at this location for the day!

Beyond that, the store itself is well-stocked with high-quality Arc’teryx gear, and the staff knows their stuff when it comes to technical apparel, fit, and outdoor performance. Whether you’re a serious adventurer or just looking for a solid jacket, this is one of the best places in Denver to shop Arc’teryx.

I went into the RINO location looking for a piece from last years collection. I did not know the name of the hoodie and only had a picture of the tag (with no SKU number or really any way to tell what the hoodie was) and a vague description. I had 0 hope of finding it and was resigned to scrolling online forever. I showed one of the guys working at the store a picture of the tag (no SKU or product number) and a terrible description - the guy thought about it for literally 10 seconds and told me it was the Rethel Hoodie and were I can buy it.
