The week we stayed here was our wedding week. It's great that a stinky, hot, loud building created such a romantic location (not). There was a heat wave the week we went, the temperature was 98-101 degrees the entire week.
So the main issue here is that the listing says there is a minisplit air conditioning in The Grand Curtis, the separate house in which we stayed. There was no minisplit. There were two a/c floor units that were LOUD AND ON THE ENTIRE TIME WE STAYED THERE. The temperatures never got below 78. We could not hear each other think, watch TV, or enjoy any downtime in this place we spent so much money to be in. Blessing in disguise: we explored Denver more. If you come during a non-heatwave time you may have a better experience in this aspect.
The suite had some odd scents. The bedroom and kitchen in particular had an old funky smell to them. It was not charming. I could not place what it was, it just smelled like garbage and mold.
There were spiderwebs all along the ceilings. The walls had water damage and holes in them. The whole place needed an overhaul. Most of the lights did not work and we couldn't figure out which light switches did what.
The main issue with this place was definitely the fact that it is run by a management company that does not care about the guests. They offered us a refund if we left, or a cleaning but I do not want to have people come clean a place that should have been deep cleaned before we even arrived. We talked to 3? different people and none of them could even remember the address of the location in which we were staying. It was incredibly difficult to get help or answers for any of our questions and RUINED the first day of our wedding week trying to coordinate with these people. At the end of the day, I decided to let it go, lest the rest of my week be ruined. The fact that I wasted my wedding week at this place, and now I still think about how poorly we were treated in such a disgusting place....let's just say at least my now husband and I can laugh about it and move on.
Also their response below was completely and...

Read moreThe hotel itself seemed to be a nice establishment but unfortunately we were extremely disappointed with our stay due to the poor service from management. When we first checked in at 3pm we arrived to find that the AC in the room we had booked was turned off and the room was 90 degrees. Shortly after arriving and turning it on we got a notification from management that our AC might be broken and they could move us. We said it had been turned off and we turned it back on, but we were going to leave for dinner, so asked that they notify us if it was still broken so that we could move. When we got back to our room at 8pm, we found the AC was still broken, but we had not received any response from management. We called and the person on the phone told us to go to another room. When we got there, we found that the other room they sent us to was half the size of our previous one. In addition, there were dead moths everywhere, and quite ominously, drops of blood in the shower that had not been cleaned. The bed at least looked clean and given that we had a 7am flight the next day we just decided to call it a night and contact management the next day with our concerns. When we sent a follow-up message with our concerns and asked that our rate be reduced to the smaller room's price, but received absolutely no follow-up.
In summary, cute boutique hotel undone by poor communication, unclean bathroom with blood spots in shower, and apathetic attitude towards customer service. Won't be going again and would not recommend to...
