FULL STORY HERE CHECK THE REVIEWS FOR VALIDATION (2023): So I was here from December to around Mid March. I bought the classes. I paid for the Dianetics Book. It's all about Mental stuff like how to organize your mind. Good book. But during one of the Courses, a new individual from the Church came in during one of the reading sessions they have downstairs in the workbook area. I was introduced to him and over the course of a week he would show up every now and then interrupting my study sessions. A taller white male. I didn't think much of it. I went to the Sunday service they had here. I was pretty much doing my own thing and things were looking up. But then out of nowhere this same dude (he's like mid 60's) starts calling me explicitives and demands that I leave the building. I had just paid for a course. I asked for a refund atleast. Couldn't get a refund. So I left. Came back to the location demanding a refund, they wouldn't refund me. So I sat outside in protest. That's when Curtis called the cops on me and told them to "Beat me up". Not cool. Dude I was sitting down, the cop pulled me up and slammed me against the guard rail right infront of the double door entrance. Hardcore. The case was dropped. Spent at least a month in jail for...

This is a great documentary about how people become part of this cult and why they stay. People who get sucked in unfortunately are often conned out of hundreds of thousands of dollars. They lose their entire life savings and often their families. Scientologists practice disconnection, which is basically the same as shunning. They also don’t believe in psychiatry. If someone is having a breakdown/psychiatric episode, they will take them out of the hospital or from their homes. They are locked in a room for up to weeks at a time with no communication with anyone. This is part of a “rundown,” meant to cure someone of mental illness without using any evidence-based practices.
