All the negative reviews are ABSOLUTELY TRUE about this store. READ them before you make a trip to this store. If I could rate the Littleton store as "0", I definitely would because based on the service I received, this store does not deserve "1" star. I happened to visit this store yesterday; however, I called before I took the trip because I didn't want to waste my time or gas--but after my experience in this store, unfortunately I did anyway. I spoke with Christine; and, over the phone she tried to sound like she was nice because she wanted me to come to their tacky lil store. I made it clear to her that I generally do business (sell my clothes) with the Lonetree store (which by the way is an absolutely fabulous store)--however, I told her that I just left Lonetree because they have a 7 day wait and since I lived over an hour away, I was searching for another store with the same clout/status as the Lonetree store. So, I asked her if their store was as nice, she actually told me that I would be pleasantly surprised if I came to the Littleton store. She also added that the wait time wouldn't be long because they currently do not have any containers of clothes to sort through, so I decided to give it a try. Well, let me tell you, not only was she incredibly dishonest regarding the quality of their store and the merchandise, when I arrived to the store I totally felt unwelcomed. Not sure if it was because my fiance and I are an interracial couple, but Christine was incredibly unprofessional and rude. From the time we walked in the door, she was very unwelcoming. I should have left from the beginning, but since we drove there, we figured we'd give it a chance. Not only was Christine dishonest about the quality of the store/clothing, she was also dishonest about the wait time. There were 3 employees in the store, there were about 3 people browsing--however, Christine took her time when it came to looking through my bins. She took about 4 people before she begin evaluating my clothes instead of asking one of the other 2 employees to assist them--especially since we were first. After seeing this, I asked Christine when she expected to get to my clothes and she rudely said "when I can". I know this is a long review, but I am disgusted with her lack of providing adequate customer service. The last straw was that Christine finally begin looking through my very fashionable designer labels of clothing/shoes--and, she was overlooking so many cute styles. Let me explain something, I'm a makeover coach and I've been featured as a stylist in today's leading magazines. I've been in the beauty/fashion/entertainment industry for 30 years. I know "What to Wear" and What Not to Wear" and have styled several of my clients for magazine photo shoots. With that said... my fashion sense is impeccable. Christine chose to overlook several amazing styles of clothing and shoes because she was rude, unpleasant, and just felt like she had the upper hand in this matter, so ultimately she only offered to purchase 5 pieces when I had over 50 items. And, the price offered was a disgrace. The designer items that she wanted I took them right back because I know I can sell them online and get good money for them. Will NEVER go back to this store again, and if I were the owner, I would do a complete rehire of my staff because this store is loosing tons of business, the store was practically empty when we arrived, and by the look of online reviews--several people absolutely hated their shopping experience. Bad business, horrible...
Read moreThis place has unbelievably disgusted me. I've sold clothes here many times; coming in I have dressed nice. But that last time I hadn't showered and I had sweat pants on. And This time I wasn't able to sell my newer, more expensive clothing there because of my appearance. Ive sold clothes BACK to them with ZERO questions asked. THIS time I was rudely stopped in the middle of my conversation with the nice lady behind the desk by another worker across the store to baligerantly be loud about how I'm not supposed to bring them in any trash liners (as if they're used); AFTER THE FACT I HAD CALLED THEM AND ASKED IF ANY PROCEEDURES HAVE CHANGED SINCE COVID. Not a single word till I am visible to this lady she continues to belittle my mother and I with attitude as if the signs on their door are readable from my house. I ASKED IF I NEEDED ANY SPECIFIC WAY TO BRING THEM IN. "Just a container or bag we can easily look through them." This undescribably disrespectful lady made it sound like i didn't know what I was doing. She embarrassed my mother in front of this whole store just because we're not wealthy, elders. They told me they were gonna take the Chennel shoes, brand new tagged hand bags, and MULTIPLE vests that they had sitting behind me that they said they don't take. I saw a fur lined coat that was in terrible condition there, but my BRAND NEW NEVER BEEN WORN clothes (that's the exact style they take because my grandmother SHOPPED THERE) none of that is good though because it's coming from a 21 year old boy TRYING TO HELP HIS MOTHER SELL HER MOTHERS THINGS TO PAY FOR HER CANCER TREATMENT, who just happened to not shower or get dressed that day. I am absolutely appaled by the actions of this lady and instead of being informative she continued to belittle my own mother because we didn't "bring it in right."
Long story short we ended up getting ALL of our items back (after they said they would take them) no more then a few minutes after we got home. On the phone the Guess Bags and the Chennel Shoes were a sell until they saw who was selling them. I don't even know what to call this. I'm disgusted and furious this place wouldn't be informative and nice about things but instead be belligerantly condescending about some simple confusion.
My items were never researched, (which I just now realize they do) and I had enough items, and there was enough customers there for the items to be there for an hour or so. (Compared to other experiences.) My things were instantly rejected. I spent 10 min on the road before I got a call...
Read moreI've been shopping and selling at this location for over three years and I've never been treated as poorly as I was today. I brought a mix of both bread and butter and high end designer items to sell today. I am aware there is typically a wait due to the volume of sellers and the time it takes for the items to be thoroughly inspected and researched. However, I was told I didn't have a long wait and for almost two hours, I was the only one in the store. I noticed there was quite a bit of chatter and not a lot of working amongst the staff this afternoon. I could hear them talking about my items. A bit callous if you ask me. When I politely asked how much longer it would take for my items to be assessed, I was met with blank stares and an irritated "We're still researching the boots." I was a bit taken aback since I didn't think I was asking much. So instead of getting upset, I decided to remove myself from the store while I waited for them to finish my items. When I came back 5 minutes later, I was met with little to no acknowledgement. A staff member literally saw me, said nothing, and set the stuff they we're buying from me on the counter. I brought in high end items and was perfectly polite, so I'm not sure why I was treated so poorly. I will no longer do business with this location. Remember, it's a second hand buy, sell, trade store in Littleton CO, not Rodeo Drive. Walk-in sellers are what keep this business running, so perhaps you should treat them with a little more kindness...
