I have a 98% rating as a customer, ive been shopping at three EzPawns in the area for about 20 years. The last two times ive went to this one i was told my brand new Versaces in the box with the receipt warranty and case where not real. I also had a pair on my head from the same store in park meadows. I told the girl they where not the 1200 $ ones that where made in the 90s but remakes from 2017 for 275 $ ones which anyone knows who researches versace can see. (Example the biggie smalls style ones). So I left went to another Ez on federal n 92nd and was given the loan which I was only asking for 30 bucks lol! Next I went with a 10k gold chain I purchased at the washington n malley Ez pawn. After all of the necklace was tested as real the manager wouldnt take it because the magnet stuck to only the clasp and lightly. So after being treated rudely like a lier I than went to a jewler n had it apraised. The jewler told me it was real and explained 10k and even 14 sometimes do this because of the alloys used (only on the clasp). I allready knew this and so did the new girl at this store but the manager was rude and wouldnt take it and oh ya, the first time the girl was a manager also. I spend alot of money at these places and even just got a 800 dollar ring from this store besides several other peices in the past But after this I will never go there again and will never recommend anyone either. If you arent experienced about a certain thing or a jewler than you should not treat a customer in that manner, maybe educate your employees and self more. Also treat your customers with respect not like dumb deperate bums or something. I spend thousands on jewlery but sometimes need sum cash thats life! This store often has nice items but Ive been embarrassed and disrepected by this store im done and they probably could care less but I will never go back after this. If I did and this happened again than shame on me. Even been called a lier after showing an employee that a diamond was cracked under a lupe they where selling for 1200 bucks and was told I must of been smoking to much. Than showed the person with the lupe and I was right thank goodness my freind took me with him or he wouldve been out some cash! One thing I cant stand is people that treat you like your stupid when they have no idea what your background is. People have no regard for customer service anymore. The sad part, its usually always the...
Read moreI just read all these friendly dispositions on this nightmarish place. i am a person that loves to shop in great places, and in pawnshops you find the most interesting places and this one was not a good one. the bad services no one welcomes you into the store! the bad attitude i got from the staff, where you had to force a hello from them first! the store was filthy , the members who worked there had awful attitudes, they need to find some real people that love their jobs and this crew does not love where they are? At one point implicating me to call corporate ,because the corporate must not care! So they get paid to treat people with bad attitudes and disrespect? I buy from a lot of stores, and i have some great friendships with jumping jack pawn store, an and others around the Denver and surrounding area, and this is the worst i have seen. the manager was not there, and i probably would had gotten a worst attitude from her being at the top of this broken store. i remember this store many years ago, it is now friendly no longer. they had some Woman-man sales person, and she gave me no eye contact and when she did it was to pick a fight instead of paying attention to one of the her and another sales associate that obviously did not care about who walked in to do business. these two were exceptionally rude and failed to live up to treatment of people walking through the door. it is sad! due to there attitude there were some interesting artifacts in this place and they lost most luster due to the bad employees and there disrespect that a person would not want to come back! due to these bad employees and a store that needs an overhaul, and a fresh start and it fails in every way conceivable. i feel in the future that this store will be going away and that may not be a bad...
Read moreI had a terrible experience at the EasyPawn on Broadway. I brought in a DeWalt 20V hammer drill with a 4Ah battery, which is worth around $350 new, and the battery itself costs about $200 new. I asked for a $70 loan, which seemed reasonable given the value. The employee and the manager (a short white woman with blondish-red hair) immediately dismissed my request, saying they could only offer $20 because they claimed the tool and battery were worth $120 new. This was ridiculous because I had actually bought the exact item from them for $120 used, and I know the actual new price is much higher.
When I pointed this out, the manager got visibly upset, handed back my ID, and essentially kicked me out of the store. To make matters worse, she instructed the employee to leave my account open, suggesting she was adding derogatory notes.
Immediately after, I went to the EasyPawn on Colfax and Sheridan with the same item and was offered $55. If the location known for lowballing still offered more than double, it proves the Broadway store’s offer was beyond unreasonable. The manager at Broadway was rude, unprofessional, and seemed to have no idea about the actual value of the tools they deal with. I definitely won’t be returning to the Broadway location and would recommend avoiding it if you want fair treatment and...
