*Final update, after the prior update, I was in contact with Marquis. He was very responsive and professional. They refunded the entire charge, and not just the overcharge. That was very kind of them to do. So here it goes: typical basic club (was not busy the night we went, creepy men, etc etc), bartenders are great, lots of areas to explore, they do not water down drinks. If you have an issue, Marquis is the one who will take care of you. I believe it to be a one time mistake, but with any charges to your card you should always check it before being charged. Life lesson. Anywho, thank you for the fix!
**Update, they asked me to reach out. I did. I even provided all the information needed, date, time, charge, last 4 digits of my card, and nothing. Waited 5 days for a response and nothing. I think that bothers me more than anything. Pay cash and be sure to double check the amount charged, or you will be overcharged. Its kind of messed up to overcharge people you think are too drunk to notice.
This is tricky… the bartenders are great, however, at the end of the night one of them accidentally(hopefully) overcharged me. 5 shots of tequila at the beginning of the night were $60 without tip, 2 adios’ were $44 (understandable) but then the last order was 2 vodka redbulls and 3 shots of tequila was $98??? Should be around $55-65. I tried to reach out the next morning, because that makes no sense and have not heard anything one week later. I really hope she just made a mistake, but as a warning to everyone to make sure you double check the amount and/or pay cash. I get club drinks are over priced, but based on what we would pay for shots, $12 for a shot, the vodka redbulls would be...
Read moreI've come here a handful of times now, and every time has been a delight. I love the layout of the place -- having different rooms with different vibes is soooo nice. I love the outdoor area with the fire pits and really enjoy the little tables set up to sell hand-crafted items in one of the rooms. I usually go on Wednesdays, since the happy hour until midnight is great. It's quieter, but still has groups of people -- and everyone is SOOOOO friendly. I have met SUCH delightful and cool people here. The outfits rule, the vibes are excellent, and it's really fun to dance or chill or talk to strangers. Plus, there are SOOOO many cool queer people there -- it feels very open to people of any identity.
I have also been on Halloween, which was CRAZY. It was so busy and SO much more of the place was opened up (it has so many rooms??). It was weird to get herded out of a specific back door at the end of the night, but honestly it was so fun to hang out that I didn't mind much. The drinks are solid and the bartenders are all super nice.
The security is also good in my experience. I'm a nonbinary person who looks Really feminine, and I wandered into the men's restroom my first night there -- and security very politely asked me if I could leave. It would be cool if they were more open about it, but I get the desire to keep canoodling couples out, and they were very gentle about it.
Definitely going to keep going back as...
Read moreThe vibe was nice but the drinks were not great. For one, they served them in flimsy plastic cups with mixer straws, I was cringing the whole time because of the sheer amount of waste and also the fact that it negatively impacted their image-it was trashy. For two, one of the bartenders was super rude. He was basically the opposite of friendly and I don't know why he still works there. I went up to him once and after that I asked my fiannce to buy my drinks so I didn't have to interact with him. My fiance and our friend noted his rudeness after we left, and said they solely utilized the other bartender after interacting with him. Third point, the drinks were just not crafted well. The screwdriver tasted like tap water and vodka with a splash of orange juice. It also looked like that. The ratios were not the same from drink to drink either. For $7 a drink I expect the mixer to know what they are doing. They also didn't have moscow mules because they didn't have ginger beer. It's not that big of a deal, but it's a pretty standard drink that most places serve. I wonder if they don't offer it because they don't actually mix drinks properly. I honestly don't even want to come here again just because of those three things, even though the music was good and there were a decent amount of people there. If you don't want to drink there, you...
