Lowry Town Center REALLY wants to be a hub, a la Downtown/Old Town Littleton, and at first glance it is BUT... It's lacking a proper weekday late night establishment on the main drag (either a cafe or restaurant), and it is in dire need of a proper bookstore, by which I mean of the Mutiny Cafe variety. In other words Lowry Town Center is bourgeois boring. I still give it 4 stars. Why? Because being boring is not its fault. The pizza and wings at Walter's303 is actually really good. The Ice Cream and gelato at Glacier is superb. Lowry Liquors has a decent selection and knowledgeable staff. And the crew at the Starbucks is really good at being a Starbucks crew. They set a standard other Starbucks around the area haven't been able to match. The Safeway is a decent Safeway, still crippled by a less effective membership program than King Soopers (Kroger is simply more aggressive with the Sooper Card, making Safeway a more expensive option but by god CONVENIENCE, amirite?) but the staff are generally super nice and truly decent to engage with. There's, like, nothing happening on the main Town Center strip but the highlights are true, authentic highlights that care about being highlights. That's worth a lot. The locals can't drive and don't care a whit for pedestrian lives so watch where you walk and look both ways... But if you survive, you might yet have a worthwhile couple hours in...

The stores are a good mix of service businesses, retail shops, and restaurants with both free street parking in front of the buildings and large, free parking lots behind them.
The area is very walkable and the individual buildings are attractive and inviting, set on a curved grid.
Dining options include Korean, American, breakfast, coffee, and pizza. Retail shops include pet supplies, framing, jewelry, liquor, and toys. Service businesses provide hair care, physical therapy, real estate, promotional products, alterations, dentistry, nail care, tanning, spa services, fitness, and vision care.
This is a very convenient shopping, dining, and service area for the local...

These kinds of events could easily bump up The Lowry Town center from a lovely 5/5 stars to a much sought after and highly fabled 6/butter stars.
This place is wide and open. The AlbertsāI mean Safeway is the main attraction for me. But, hey, that Lowry Liquors or whatever that massive liquor store is called is no joke either. I think it has a logo of a plane on it.
And what's with all the plane imagery all over the place? It would give anyone the impression Lowry was some kind of Air Force base, instead of what it truly was. An ancient honey badger...
