Blue Sky Nails and Lash Lowry — Local services in Denver

A day later and I’m still upset. I went in for a gel pedicure and a dip manicure. I’ll never return to this salon even after the manager tried to fix it and gave me a $20 gift card.

The reasons are: very nice location but no quality polishes. I was given a limited book selection and had to ask for more. I went with a basic red and the color numbers were off so I ended up with uneven, purple nails. The nail tech did not stop and figure it out but kept going. The polish was sheer and globbed in corners. my manicure was unevenly shaped with the filing, even after the manager fixed it. I posted 2 pics of before the manager went in and after. the dip wasn’t filed well and left super chunky and uneven. I spent 3 hours trying to get a very basic service. the clear polish they used was incredibly murky and looked unclean. my cuticles were not done well and just done with the drill. I had long nails except for 2 broken ones and I asked to keep them long. They filed them down to nubs. I was left with so much dip powder residue on my skin that I’m still peeling it off. the clear coat didn’t get the sides of my nails. the manager cut my toe upon trying to refill my toe nails they wouldn’t remove my info from their database

I should have paid attention to the reviews before going in. I appreciate the manager trying to fix it but I will never use that gift card. I can still see where it’s uneven and I’ll be going to another salon to completely redo them. These look like I did them at home and not something I paid over $100 for.

I would like a full refund and will probably never...

blue sky nails in Lowry and cherry creek have been amazing to me for the past 8+ years! My mom has made this a routine for us every Sunday and we always come out so happy and beautiful! But - this time I’m so sad and disappointed.. My nail tech (Kathy in LOWRY) booked me for a nail apt at 4:30 for a shellac manicure. As I came in she had me wait for her to Finnish her lunch and sat me down at 5pm to remove my old polish. Kathy then sits next to me and tells me she is getting a manicure too.. 5pm turned into 5;45 with acetone that burned my cuticles so bad I had to take the gloves off and she told me to wait for her to be finished with her service… i took everything off and left. I sat in your nail salon for almost 2 hours for my fingers to be burnt and to watch my nail tech get a whole nail set while she laughed and giggled. embarrassing? Disappointing? In pain? Disrespected? Yes. All of the above. As an esthetician I am mind blown… I have never tipped less than 20%… I have never been rude.. If im being honest, in 8+ years of being a regular biweekly client I was never offered water or asked how I’m doing. I realized we sat in silence the whole time and although she did a good job- she’s not good at her job. Pathetic and disgusting of a day that I had.. other nail techs jumped in to apologize and offer a free service because they knew how poorly I was treated. Blue sky nails- you let me down. Maybe next time I should wear some make up and roll up in a Lamborghini to gain your trust...

My boyfriend and I decided to treat ourselves to a spa treatment and wanted a place that’s very sanitary and clean. We found this hidden gem which is also new and the service was fabulous.

We both got pedicures and manicures done, he had gotten the MILE HIGH pedicure which is infused with CBD! It left his leg feeling so relaxed and tingling that he didn’t want to get out of the massage chair! He also went for a classic manicure with paraffin which left his hand very moisturizing. Of course I went for the HIDDEN PARADISE pedicure with gel because it last longer for me. The pedicure service was phenomenal it came with hot stone, paraffin, and hot towel followed by a massage with candle wax! Yes you heard it right, and the candle wax isn’t like any other wax, it has essential oil and shea butter like that left my legs so moisturized! I love how they took their time to treat their customers with excellent service. Oh! I’m a very picky customer and I decided to also get a dipped manicure here and I was in shock, how detailed my lady was with my shape and cuticle work done.

Overall our experience here was phenomenal and I definitely recommend this place to those who would love to come with their gfs, bfs, or even a group for any occasion! Definitely call and book ahead to avoid...
