The first 2 times I came here with 2 random nail techs, it was great. Iām not sure of her name, but the woman that works in the front, guessing maybe a manager, did a horrible job today. I asked for my nails to be removed, and new acrylics put on. I provided a picture of the design. She rushed through my nails, ripping them off rather than soaking. Then, the design was nothing near a gnome. She left a lot of product dried on my skin. And none of the nails matched as far as length or shape. I quietly asked another technician to redo my nails and I would gladly pay again. That lady went and told the other one, which made her awkwardly come over to me, which I was trying to avoid. I reluctantly had her fix them but didnāt mention anything about the design. She apologized and mentioned sometimes that happens when theyāre busy. $81 and they were half way decent. Now to my daughter, had her acrylics removed and a gel manicure. We again provided a nail design. The guy took over an hour and 45 min and then called my lady over to do the design. Yet again looked nothing like the picture we gave. When I finally had enough, I asked for my money for my daughter nails back and the lady wanted my daughter to go back so they could remove the polish. No way in hell I was going to sit there even longer, nor allow them to angrily remove something from my 10 year olds hands. $126 not including the tip, (yes I tipped another $16 between the 2) and neither of us were happy. Yes, I took the $45 she handed me and I left. Sad because I thought I had found my new shop. She alone ruined that. Other nail techs...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI've been here a few times and it has always been hit or miss, but I've continued going because it's close to my house. After my last visit, I will never return. I went in for a manicure and pedicure which took a total of three hours. First we started out with the pedicure, which was fine, and took one hour. Then, I was switched to a nail tech named Kenny. It was very obvious to me that he is very new to doing nails and needs MUCH more practice. I had powder dip on my nails when I arrived and he removed it with the drill - totally standard. This process took him ONE HOUR. I started to become worried that he was filing too much off my nails (top). Then he started the French manicure and the polish alone took him ONE HOUR to complete. The white tips were totally uneven and the nails were all different lengths. I let this slide because I had been there for three hours and needed to leave. Two weeks later, after taking off the manicure at a different nail salon, my nails are "thin as paper". My nail tech refused to even put normal polish on my nails because they are so damaged. We agreed to cut them short and only use a nail strengthening treatment. She suspected it will be two months before my nails are back to normal. Four weeks later - my nails are now cut to the skin, but they are tearing below. I've never had a manicure this bad or cause this...
