I moved into MAA Milepost in March and honestly didn’t expect to love it as much as I do. From the start, Drew Sheffield, the Assistant Property Manager, has been nothing but professional, welcoming, and helpful. The leasing office never flipped the switch after we signed, which is rare these days. In fact, they stayed friendly and attentive and even gifted me a KitchenAid mixer at move-in, which was such a kind surprise! (I live in a townhome unit)
The property is beautifully maintained, and it never feels like one of those quick-money, high-turnover apartment traps with shotty workmanship. It’s clear they care about the long-term resident experience. They are focused on maintaining landscaping and a clean property.
Security here is top-tier. There’s 24/7 patrol and they’re consistently present, especially at night, which is super reassuring. Contrary to some of the older reviews, I haven’t encountered any sort of homeless issue likely because security is proactive and effective.
We did have a hiccup when corporate initially rejected my ESA documentation for my dogs, but I want to stress that it wasn’t the local management’s fault, and they remained patient and professional throughout. It eventually got resolved, and they never treated me differently during the process.
The apartment itself is full of smart features I didn’t even realize I was getting, every light is phone-controlled, locks are smart, and the maintenance team is prompt, kind, and very trustworthy (none of the "gotcha" maintenance people, they truly want to help you enjoy your experience).
The dog park is super spacious and always clean. Most people use it one at a time, which works fine, though the rocks inside can be a bit much to walk on because there's about a foot of loose pebble making it feel like you're walking on thick sand. Still, it’s a rare find in city apartments to have something this well maintained. The dog poop people leave behind is quickly picked up and addressed by maintenance.
The rooftop amenities, including fire pits and brand-new gym, are absolutely amazing. The dog wash station is a great touch, and move-in was a breeze even with my last-minute relocation from Texas, they accommodated me with no hassle.
Parking is plentiful and fair no hidden fees or extortion, which is refreshing. Utilities are also very affordable. As an EV driver, I really appreciate the charging stations. While a few are temporarily offline due to copper theft (unfortunate but out of their control), there are still plenty available.
Overall, I’m super happy I chose this place. It’s rare to find an apartment that checks all the boxes and I can confidently say MAA Milepost does. If you can get past the corporate office aggressively denying ESA letters (which likely is caused by people abusing that process taking away from those who need it and have legitimate documentation) you'd love it here. I feel comfortable and happy in living here. The residents are quiet, and non-problematic. There is the occasional barking dog on a balcony late at night but usually that stops by 10pm. Big shoutout to Drew and the team for making this feel like home. Highly recommend! ALSO - they gave us the cutest welcome basket with a handwritten...
Read moreWE WON! After several weeks of disputing a wrongful charge of $463.18, the 'oversight' was finally removed from our account. Huge thanks to new management —specifically Nathalie —for stepping in and resolving the issue. (Hence the two-star review instead of one—Nathalie, we truly appreciate you!)
Unfortunately, the process leading up to this resolution was exhausting. Our email exchanges with Alyssa dragged on for weeks over a charge that was clearly unjustified (happy to provide details). Her responses were consistently dismissive and contradictory, and even after escalating to upper management, we received no apology.
To be honest, our decision to move out was made months before this incident. Around seven months into our lease, we knew we’d be looking elsewhere once the year was up. Non-residents were regularly using the amenities, parking was consistently difficult, and EV charging spots were either broken or were frequently occupied by non-electric vehicles. When we raised this concern with management, rather than addressing the misuse, they asked if we wanted to pay $150 for a garage space that included a charging station—an unhelpful and frustrating response.
We’re hopeful that with the new leadership, things will improve for current and future residents. But our experience—especially with Alyssa—was unacceptable. Roles like this require empathy and accountability, qualities that Alyssa consistently failed to demonstrate during...
Read moreLiving at MAA Milepost 35 in Denver has been nothing short of amazing, and it’s all thanks to the incredible team that runs the show—Jen, Alyssa, and Kayla. These three are absolute gems. Every interaction with them is positive, helpful, and uplifting. They genuinely care about the residents, and it shows in everything they do. Whether it’s a quick question, a concern, or just saying hello in the main building, they bring nothing but good energy and professionalism.
The property itself is top-tier. The gym is hands down one of the best I’ve seen in any condo or apartment complex—clean, well-equipped, and spacious. It’s honestly just a few squat racks and a couple machines away from being a gym you could charge memberships for. For residents, it’s a dream.
And the pool? Always clean, inviting, and perfect for those hot Denver summer days. It’s a mini oasis right at home.
But what truly sets MAA Milepost 35 apart is the people. The maintenance team is incredible—quick, efficient, and always on point. Their responsiveness is a direct reflection of the strong leadership from Jen, Alyssa, and Kayla. These three don’t just manage the property—they build a community. I can’t say enough good things about them. If you’re looking for a place to live in Denver, look no further. Milepost...
