Nina Wynn: Fine, Permanent & Piercing Jewelry — Local services in Denver

We had an absolutely wonderful experience with this studio, today. My daughter wanted to get her 1st set of ear piercings for her birthday. We didn't want to go to a place that used mild-to-moderately trained individuals, and/or piercing guns. We wanted her to go to a studio that used professional piercing techniques with the best sterile processes and potential for healing. While there are many shops around town that offer this, none of them compared the comfortable and confident environment Nina and Matt provide. Not only do they use beautiful, high quality jewelry, which is from Nina's personal line, but they also autoclave their jewelry (in addition to the piercing instruments). Matt, who performed the piercing, has a medical background and is clearly highly trained. He helped my teenager feel relaxed and reassured. He was precise and worked with great care. Nina was also incredibly welcoming and very comfortable to speak with. The studio environment also feels very posh, in a positive way. Since they are by appointment only, you don't have to worry about being crowded and rushed. You feel that you have their undivided attention and care. When I say that they gave my introverted teen a wonderful experience, I truly mean it. We will definitely be back, in the future. My experience at Nina Wynn was phenomenal. Darby worked with me during my appointment and was an absolute gem! I went in for an ear mapping and piercing session and Darby was so helpful and informative from beginning to end. She really took the time to curate a look that balanced the anatomy of my ear and masked an error from a previous piercer. Darby was so knowledgeable, kind, and very clearly passionate about her craft. She took the time to walk me through the piercing process, sterilization process, and after care recommendations. I was so nervous to get a cartilage piercing initially but, Darby made me feel so at ease. I couldn’t believe how smooth the process was! The jewelry selection at Nina Wynn is incredible and well worth the price tag. Darby helped me pick out the most beautiful emerald earring for my conch piercing and it’s my new obsession! I will be returning from Michigan in a few months for my downsizing appointment and can’t wait to add more piercings as well! I can’t recommend this place...

I attended a piercing event for Mother’s Day and was excited to check this place out as the website has many beautiful pieces. I had not realized that although the pieces are gorgeous, it was quite a hefty price for one very small piece of jewelry. Nina was very helpful and attentive at first and once I confessed I would have to come back when I could save up a bit she wanted nothing to do with me. She only followed me around the store as if I was going to steal something. Just because I could not make a purchase that day I was disregarded and that is not the quality in an intimate customer service setting that I had expected.
