As a local, this is some of the best pizza in the community. Always hot, crispy and cheesy. These pizzas have never disappointed me. It’s New York style pizza, thin with a decent crust. The sauce is never too much and I’ve noticed they take the time to balance the flavors well. Highly recommend their calzones, slices, or cinnamon sugar knots. Sexy pizza went all out on their drink selection as well. They’ve got all kinds of beer and craft sodas too.
All of my to go orders have been made within the estimated time! Not something I can claim for many other restaurants.
Check their menu inside the restaurant. Not sure if they’re all the same, but this location has different daily specials where you can order 2 slices and a drink OR a slice, a drink, and a salad. They also have $2 slices on Wednesdays. These specials can only be ordered at the restaurant and cannot be called in.
Plenty of seating areas inside, including a few larger tables to accommodate parties. There’s a communal high top and low top table.
Staff,I’ve noticed, are all men. Not a problem, but it was noticeable. It seems like they are all happy and having a good time which makes the service and dinning experience relaxing and homey. The cashier is always smiling and joking around with customers and staff. Which is nice. They’ve made me feel more than welcome and I couldn’t...
Read moreSexy Pizza has been our go-to local spot for years since I can order online and walk home with a giant box of classic, greasy, gets-the-job-done pizza for a reasonable price. If anything, they've improved their consistency and have expanded their toppings. I particularly appreciate the interesting vegetarian toppings and vegan sausage, which you'll rarely find at a chain.
One thing to know is that they're getting a bit of the "hug of death" as the neighborhood blows up, multiplied by COVID-related staffing shortages beyond their control, so if you're trying to order pizza at the same time as everyone else (particularly during Broncos games at this location), they're gonna be busy, so plan ahead or order off-peak.
I recently waited longer than expected for an undercooked pizza, but after emailing in I was promptly refunded. I also work in retail/service for a small business so I understand that mistakes happen, and it's all about how they're handled. Sexy handled it well, and obviously cares about their staff and their customers, so they're still my go-to. If you hit them up (which you should) remember that it has been a long couple of years for anyone in a customer-facing role, so be patient, be nice, and tip well. Bonus tip: sign up for their emails, they regularly send out pretty...
Read moreI had this years ago and remember it being pretty decent. Then again, maybe I was just drunk that night and any pizza would have been good.
Coming back through town after 10pm on a post 6 hour drive, they were all that was really open so I figured why not? Boy, I should have just grabbed Dominos. They closed at 12 so it wasn’t a late order or anything either.
Ordered a well done easy on the cheese and they must have interpreted that as “Rare” and we didn’t listen to a single part of the rest of your order. The crust was literally white, undercarriage the same. I’ve seriously had better frozen pizzas. Whatever memories I had of this place being good were instantly destroyed.
Honestly, even if it hadn’t have been less than desirably cooked it was still sub par. Took it home, convection cooked it for 5 min at 400 to get to proper doneness and it was still UGGGGHHHHH.
I’d give it a one star review but the person who cashed me out did a decent job and was cool.
Anyone who thinks this is proper NY pizza clearly hasn’t been to NY and had Johns of Bleecker, Di Fara, Lucali, Sauce, Prince St etc etc etc..... this is garbage. Go somewhere else. If somewhere else isn’t open, then go to Jack N The Box. They’re 24/7 and at...
