I’ve been coming here for what feels like a decade and I’ve never had a bad drink or service experience. Their lattes go head-to-head with any of the trendier coffee shops in the Highlands. The pastries are fresh and delicious. The baristas are so friendly and helpful. Kaladi Bros is my favorite coffee roaster so that doesn’t hurt. I risk my life for this coffee with that lefthand turn back onto Federal.
However, there are some selfish and entitled dog owners who frequent this place and apparently believe they’re special. There’s a clear sign posted on the door that says service animals only, yet every time I visit there are at least 2-3 dog owners who think they’re an exception. While standing in line last week, I was nipped by an out-of-control dog whose owner was too busy staring at her laptop to notice how restless and uncomfortable her dog was. Read more2914 Coffee is a wonderful neighborhood coffee house. I come in from the DTC area and meet people who live further up North, there. It's a warm and friendly establishment. There are lines sometimes, but I haven't had to wait long to place my order. The Latte's are delicious and are served in the traditional Latte cup. The ambiance and atmosphere with the staffs' warmth is what makes this coffee house one of my favorite in Denver. Do yourself a favor and give it a shot (or a double...
Read moreI had the chocolate croissant, and hot chocolate. Though I must say the multiple people I passed on the way in left my nostril reconsidering my pending order. The coffee smelt delicious.
Now what made this croissant was the consistency of the pastry dough. It wasn’t overly flakey. Had a great mouth feel. With the honey in the crust, It rounded out the flavor of the hot chocolate, so neither were competing with each other. Simple…yet amazing.
Staff is friendly. Quick with friendly conversation as well as speed of your order. I watch as people go in and out. Highly recommended this gem of a neighborhood...
