Let's start off by saying we love this place; in the past great food, always great service we have never had any complaints. Today is different though for them to get a one star from us. However front of house (servers and bar) great service as always keep it up. However back of the house (kitchen) had some major issues in the past we've always had great hot and delicious food and always accommodating. Today it was luke warm, cold not very good something has happened in the last 4 weeks since we last were there; food has dropped drasticly in standards, taste, and looks. We started with some nachos and potato skins with out the bacon as a few family members don't eat pork and are vegetarian we know the potato skins are not meant to be this way but federal has always accommodated this for us with no issues. Furthermore Today it made those in the family sick to thier stomachs to where they did not want to continue eating after a few bites of each dish.Even my self who eats meats had issues with my stomach. I believe that something was either cross contaminanted. Either reusing a tray for the potato skins and or nachos. Though what i really think happened is the kitchen served something that was above good safe handling or had been above temp for a long period of time or they served us something that was out of date like cheese or sour cream. Needless to say we might not be back...

I split the fish and chips with my wife. She happens to have celiac disease (severe autoimmune response to gluten). They were among the best gluten-free (GF) fish and chips either of us have experienced. They could immediately improve this dish by using more rice flower in their batter. It makes for crisper batter, and it absorbs far less grease from the fryers. Our son had the Ring of Fire burger with Ghost Fries. This is likely a burger and fries too hot for most casual spicy food fans. Beware, as this amazing burger lit my boy up!

The atmosphere was great. This feels like a cozy little sports bar. Upon further exploration, this place is like a T.A.R.D.I.S. (Think Dr. Who). It is much bigger on the inside. There are some games (table curling, for example) that you might expect to find at a brew-pub. There is an outdoor patio section as well. Although it was too cold to enjoy it on our visit, we look forward to spring, when it will be much more enjoyable.

Our waitress (Dea) was incredible. Although there wasn't a huge crowd in there, she kept up with every seated patron in the place, except for the bar.

Do yourself a favor and visit this establishment soon. You...

I would eat here at least once a month for the last 6 years and am very familiar with their burgers. A few months ago I opened my takeout when I got home and the burger patty was 2/3 of the normal size. I called the manager to let them know what was going on and immediately met with, “well our burger patties come premade from something something farm and they’re 4 ounces each so I’m pretty sure it’s 4 ounces.” to which I exclaimed, “I have a food scale and I’m weighing it right now and it is not 4 ounces“. To which your manager said, “well we have a scale you can use over here if you like.“ As if i was going to bring back my food to weigh it to then wait another half hour for a new burger? That was the last time I ordered from you guys and I’ve not been back since. I thought about not leaving this review but I just drove by there and was reminded that one of my favorite places treated me so awfully and there was not even a slight possibility that they were wrong or that the farm that they get their burgers from was wrong or anything other than your manager implying I was in the wrong/lying. I even kept the pictures from April here...

Updated: the NEW a la carte tacos are the perfect option to get something super satisfying (and very affordable!) if you aren’t hungry enough for a whole meal. The cotija and roasted corn taco is to die for and the jerk chicken with pineapple is my second favorite. Previous Review: I have been a regular patron at the Fed for just over 5 years. I highly recommend this spot for locals and visitors alike. The food is excellent, but it is the staff that keeps me coming back. Anytime I walk in, my standard drink is immediately made and served with a smile and conversation. As a single woman, I feel very comfortable coming in solo (day or night) and do so a couple of times each week. My menu favorites are: the Chuckwagon Burger, Fed Potato Skins and the PBJ wings (spicy Thai peanut style). Lots of local beers on draft and very friendly to sports fans. I genuinely hope others will love The Fed like I do!

Great experience. We went over to watch part of the Super Bowl. The place is very cool, and the staff is very friendly. I was excited to see soooo many gluten free options. We had some chicken to start, then fish and chips and reuben. Big portions! Chicken was absolutely great, as was the Reuben. The fish and chips impression was more mixed - the batter was great, but the fish itself wasn't the best. I wouldn't expect some amazing quality, so that would be fine, but I'd recommend for the kitchen to add lots of lemon juice and a bit of salt before dipping it in the batter, could remove some of the muddy taste, plus it's difficult to season it later. Happy overall, though, we will be back. With some many GF options, I couldn't be happier to have a spot like this!
