VIP Barber Lounge — Local services in Denver

I do not recommend this place they are not charitable and each barber turned away a homeless mentally disabled person.

I called to schedule my client for a discount haircut. The phone passed to the owner i guess. They told me to bring him down. We drove from downtown to Florida in Hampden. Myself and client pull up 45 minutes later from the time we called eta said 30 minutes away. We jumped on the highway. My client gets nervous on the highway. But we knew this was going to be great for him and i told him to close his eye if he needs to because we wanted to hirry and get to this chance of a life time. We get yhere my client walks in and tells them he has an appt with Brandon. They were dismissed as if no one named Brandon worked there. My client is already people shy. We have him go into places like this for him to learn how to interact with others. Everything we do is for his development. There were 7 barbers in this place and not 1 wiuld cut his hair. Unbeilevable i had told the barber on the phone that my client has $25.00 on his card and he said come on down. Well,': they all mocked the situation, laugh and passed the phone around when I called back in there once my client came out, embarrased They passed the phone around as if to say im not doing it, im not doing it...they actually thought t it was funny. They embarrassd him, made him feel sad and rejected. Smh. No...

A place full of men and not one man stands up and leads the way! Also if your single mother or just going with no man this is NOT the place for you! They don’t make it easy for us! They assume we know how a barber shop works! I walked in at 11AM I didn’t leave until 1:15PM & I just took 2 kids. They took one of my kids right away and as that cut went on I started thinking ok this might be the spot (we just moved from AZ so we don’t know any places in Colorado) the guys look like they know what they are doing besides it being messy. BUT that turn side ways soooo fast after the guy was finished with my son haircut I got up with my second son and the guy right away told me he’s leaving to wait for someone else. So we sat back down and the other guys all had “appointments” yet 2 barbers just sitting on there phone.. they took 6 men before I stood up and had to ask what was going on and one of the guys sitting down took my son and started his haircut. THEY NEED SOMEONE MANAGING THEM OR SOMEONE TO RUN THE PLACE! I don’t know much about a barber shop but I know how a business should be run and at this barber shop, NO ONE WAS IN CONTROL!!!! Worst...

I have had my hair and beard cut by numerous "barbers" in the north. When I had a little time in Denver I knew I had to contact specialist. I found this place on google. When I walked in I had almost 2 years of growth on my beard and hair and looked borderline homeless. I expressed my discontent with barbers with Miguel and he was super understanding. I put all my trust in him and told him to do what he thinks looks best. Needless to say this was the bast haircut I think I have ever gotten. Plus an awesome laid back atmosphere that makes you wanna chill. I'll never go to anyone else for a haircut. It took a little longer than usual but I appreciate that. They take their time and understand all hair types. I'm light blonde and thinning and he made this fade as good as any dark haired person. Absolutely incredible. Can't recommend this...
