Ocean State Job Lot — Local services in Deptford Township

The selections each visit keep getting bigger and more diverse and even with inflation I'm finding lower priced items to save money on with the exception of the outside bird feeders/houses and seed . That area seems a little high to me like priced at normal retail vs what I'd like to see at a discount place like this!! Often at the Deptford location even if I go 1-2 days into a new ad, I don't see items displayed that are in the mailer ads and alot of times I'm going based on wanting items specifically from those ads in the mail! Outside to that my only other hope is for LONGER STORE HOURS!! WEEKDAYS I cant shop because if you don't get home until 530-6pm there's no time to head out and shop unless you're running in for a few items and you know EXACTLY where they are!! And weekends often that's when you can get your outside and household stuff done during the day and enjoy an evening shopping trip but not past 7pm! If they stayed open till 9pm on Fri and Sat nights and on weeknights at least till 8pm if not Mon. Thru Thurs. Then at least 2 days a week, it would generate ALOT MORE BUSINESS FOR THEM and avoid what's happening now customers having to leave at an early closing time so they jump over to Ollie's, xmas tree shop or Burlington and Ross to finish up that shopping list or just the desire to continue browsing and buying. All minutes from each other in the tight shopping district! Dont give up that business/shopping time!!! We WANT TO SHOP AT YOUR STORE !!! And with the loss of stores like Joanns if you started carring more seasonal/Holiday decor for in and outdoors as well as craft items like mesh, ribbon, fiskers crafting items etc because the DIY, crafting, wreath making hobbies are becoming for some....a side hustle so that's revenue you could capture and one more place we can shop materials at!! Just a suggestion! But as far as summer and the beach/pool items....towels, inflatables, Coolers, Chairs etc...GREAT JOB!!! Always a fantastic selection.....I mean this year..........

Ocean State Job Lot is another discount store I've been going since they first opened back in November 2020, where Toys "R" Us used to be. I love going at least once a month. I went there this past weekend with friends and family, and it is even better than the last time I was there. Well organized and stocked up discount store with lots of items from lawn and garden, outdoor living, outdoor recreation, beach and pool, kitchen and dining, groceries, household supplies, home decor, furniture, home improvement, pet supplies, health and wellness, school and office supplies, toys, clothing, heating and air conditioning items, tools, seasonal items, can't even list everything here. The store is clean, well organized, stacking workers and cashiers, as well as the management is very polite, helping customers, very professional personnel giving the fact that retail industry these days, and I'm talking bricks and mortar or walk in stores are going through a lot of challenges and stress to find the best products for affordable prices. Overall, it is a great retailer, lots of aisles and items to browse, a lot of fun stuff, paraphernalia items, a great tent, a gazebo collection, and outdoor led lights. I also want to mention the groceries and food items well organized on a few isles, a great selection of imported products, jars, canned goods, excellent coffee selection, and more. The store has an insider coupon offering in the form of a card issued, and the subscription is free and gives you accumulated points to use as coupons. Great retailer all year around for gift shopping. At Christmas time, it is at its peak and great for gifts shopping. Please visit the store or go on their website. They are sort of hit or miss on some items. I'm finding that they always of good no great deals on premium dog & cat treats. The dog food I need is probably 40 ish percent less expensive and so far, so good with supply. I'm super thankful for the price breaks ^ happy about the affordable and yet unique pet gadgets. Since someone asked the only bummer for me so far. I have a large male dog, the coolest glow in the dark leashs & collars so far, only smaller girl dogs. I have a cat. I need a sweater for her, only super awesome dog sweaters to be found. That's okay, no joke. I can afford to give my good boy dog & furry cat better treats & toys more often, so thanks again...
