Itās really a shame that i am being forced to respond to this matter in this way. I really wanted to be the bigger person and just leave the one star and not go into detail but the owner has forced my hand. I have been going to Nails and Pedi for months now and have been very supportive of their business and was very friendly with the owners. Never had a problem. That being said. Being that i had believed i built a good relationship with them there, i mentioned to Kenny the owner that there were a couple of discrepancies with my pedicure. Now before i go on with all the stuff his employee did wrong or forgot to do all together, let me not forget to mention that i nearly got ONE of these statements out of my mouth before Kenny stopped doing my nails and immediately started asking (said nail tech) from across the room if i was lying or telling the truth. He then proceeded to tell me that she did indeed do the thing i claimed she did not do. So i asked him why he would think i would lie about It?? As a customer what have i ever done to make you believe that would be in my character? He continues to rise up out of his chair and starts to throw a fit about checking the cameras to see whoās telling the truth. I said āKenny itās not that serious reallyā āi just wanna finish my nails at this point we really donāt need to check the cameras i dont see the pointā Kenny said,āno cause if she lying Iāll fire herā and i told him thatās a bit drastic and thatās not at all my goal here. The 3 of them, kenny, his wife Annie and the new tech spoke infront of me in their language about me for over 5 minutes. I was extremely uncomfortable as i had to sit there and get my nails finished in the most extremely uncomfortable most unwelcoming setting in my life. All i was trying to do was see if u were aware that the pedicures were not being done correctly. And being that i am a regular customer i do ask why would you charge full price if the job was not done correctly? Instead u argue and get upset and accuse a good customer of lying for a discount. In conclusion, this nail tech attempted to use used dirty tools to dig into my toes with and i had to stop her, she cut my toe and made It bleed, she soaked my feet in water with no soap or anything at all, she used the cheese grater allllll over my foot focusing on the softest parts of my feets and not the toughest parts,DUH, she never scrubbed sanded exfoliated loofah nothing. She lotioned my legs AFTER she put the put towel on not before. All in all. I thought i knew these people well enough to recommend people to them but from now on all Iām gonna do is hope no one ever flips Kennyās switch again because heās nice until heās not and then itās over. But thatās common with addicts. Mood swings. Iāll be going to a nail tech from now on that cares that itās employees are consistent with their work and on point. And hold themselves accountable when they arenāt. Like a professional would. I honestly hope whatever is broken in your soul is mended one day sir. Thereās a black light that...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreOMG. Okay so I needed my nails done ASAP for my trip to California and my friend Julie got right on it and texted Kenny (one of the owners) and was able to get me an appointment with Angie (husband and wife). They got me in the NEXT DAY. I had on a hard gel from another salon that I desperately needed to get a fill or whatever and Angie took care of me. I walked in the salon, pretty and clean. Apparently my friend Julie is well known there (lol) but I can see why - so many of her coworkers and friends have been referred to them AND they are so welcoming and do an AMAZING job. I went in (and made Julie come with me because I normally go alllllll matte black) and we literally showed Angie a few designs, she gave me her honest, professional opinion, including why hard gel is not good for your nails and dip was better, and we were, well they were ha, able to decide on a design and color choice. She is so personable, funny, honest (like when you go to your hair stylist and are set on getting BANGS and they tell you no, then you realize they're right). I will NEVER go to another salon again. She is a fast perfectionist, and I felt SO GOOD and special walking out of those doors. Seriously, you need to go. The picture of my nails is a WEEK after getting them done - I do a lot of "handiwork" around the house, let alone the travel across the country hauling suitcases, etc. As I'm writing this I'm still in awe of how beautiful they look. Angie and Kenny - you're stuck with me...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMy friend was getting her nails done so I decided to also do the same. The guy there think his name was Kenny did my nails. I usually get gel over lay with a gel polish. I wanted to do white nails with an almond shape. He told me that he could only do a false nail and the overlay being brought out to give me length was something that canāt be done. (Which iv gotten at other salons but hey not everyone can do the same thing) The gel wasnāt smooth, it was very bulky, it wasnāt almond shaped either. The pedicure instantly had one of the toe nail polish lift completely off. I went home an filed my nail and then bought white nail polish to try and āfixā everything. Iām not a regular so when he saw one of his regulars come in for a pedi he rushed me out the way. Now also hate to say this BUT Iām a black female. The person who was before me was a white lady. He took his time with her before getting to me. The regular after me was also a white lady. So I felt some type of way that he took his time with them, but not with me. In conclusion after the interaction with him, and the terrible job done. Iāll continue taking my business to my usual people. I was only here because my...
