The worst ever. I purchased a ring for my girlfriend. I was the buyer, using my credit card to pay for it. But I used her name instead of mine so it would not be problem if she wants to do something with it later. She didnât want the ring since she did not want to waste money when the money is tight. I came to return the ring. The store manager said I couldnât return since my name was not on the receipt, even though the credit is mine. Mind you, she wasnât with me when I bought the ring, they donât require that.
On the receipt they say they require original receipt, the credit card and thatâs all.
The manager name is Juliane Carucci. I refuse to buy from Zales ever again. Ever again.
P.S: looking at the reviews, I believe they systematically messed up at managing level. So maybe these managers got leeway from the regional manager or something going on here. I would not recommend anyone to Zales or Kay if this is true. They own by the same company and I doubt they have two different regional guy. Or if they are different,...

   Read moreI went to Zales recently on a Saturday when the mall was very busy, so there was of course a line of people waiting to be helped. Even though there were several people ahead of me, Michael still greeted me the moment I stepped foot into the store and told me someone would be with me shortly. I browsed for a bit then stepped away to another store and came back when it was a little less busy. Even though there was no need to be (I understand that retail gets busy on weekends!), him and Sophia both were apologetic when I came back and said they had seen me waiting, then immediately asked what they could help me with. The jewelry I ended up purchasing was lovely, and they were both very knowledgeable about the pieces I was being shown, which I really appreciated, because it helped narrow down my purchase.
