DO NOT GET AT&T/DIRECTV SERVICE THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF, AND SCREW YOU OVER. PLUS, THEY WILL DAMAGE YOUR HOME AND NOT CARE TO FIX IT.
Only reason I gave 2 stars, is due to out of the two AT&T corporate stores I've been to around the West County area, this was definitely the better one. At least the employee I talked to was a lot more helpful than the Ellisville store. Unfortunately, typical AT&T/DirecTV actual customer care doesn't want to help anyone if they've screwed up. The employee did help to make sure that AT&T stopped trying to screw us over by saying we never sent back equipment, which we did and had a receipt of the USPS transaction, but it does tell me that AT&T as a company looks to screw people over that cancel their service, SO MAKE SURE YOU SAVE EVERY SINGLE RECEIPT AND PIECE OF PAPER THEY SEND YOU UNTIL EVERYTHING IS COMPLETED. The employee however, was not able to get AT&T to fix our roof. DO NOT LET DIRECTV INSTALL A SATELLITE DISH ON YOUR ROOF They run bolts through your shingles down into the plywood, and it damages your roof. If you Google it, there are plenty of people who have had issues with this. AT&T seem to think it appropriate to make you jump through hoops for them to even come out and look at it. Simply ridiculous. It's taken me almost 3 months, and over 7+ hours on hold even for them to acknowledge there is a problem. To be a manager no respect no integrity whatsoever and sounded like she was condoning and justifying another employee breaking a policy that consists of fraud.    Read moreTHIS STORE SAVED MY BUTT Shout out to heather and Brittany for coming together and figuring a way to get me a working phone! I went 5 days without cellular service. Apple west county replaced my iPhone under warranty of Apple care and they issued me a phone that: Has been blacklisted since December (I received the phone in march) Is reported officially STOLEN by the company that blacklisted it.
ATnT has been there every step of the way, researching and helping me, knowing that I didnât have a working cell phone. They even tried to reach out to Apple on my behalf (Apple Store west county doesnât pick up the phone)
Apple west county at this point had told me âJust use your phone when you can connect to wirelessâ âUse one of your OTHER phonesâ (as if I own more than one???)
Since Apple took no credit for their mistake and refused to help me on any level, ATnT stepped UP. They were able to get me a new phone and I only had to pay 150$ as opposed to 800$ that I still owed on the phone plus the cost of a new phone (1,500 about?)
