THE MANAGER WAS REALLY RUDE. We have been in St. Louis for less than 24 hours on Monday, March 17 in 2025 and we decided to go the aquarium and go out to eat which took some time and we didn't get to the mall until 7ish. Our last stop in the mall was Offline. We bought a 45 dollar pair of shorts and left at around 7:50, which they closed at 8. My friend was with me and realized she left her backpack, from which we ran through the whole mall to get back to the store. (We didn't leave it in this store but we were panicked and didn't know where it was and my friend really thought it was in there). We knocked on the glass door and at first they ignored us. Great, right? So we asked loudly if there was a backpack in there. They looked around at each other nodding and looking around and then the manager told them to look. The girls looked and couldn't find it, but my friend really thought it was in there so we kept asking if they were sure and we were trying to figure out where it was outside their door. We then looked at 2 other places near them that we went and they weren't there. The manager kept staring at us through the door when we came back to Offline and stood outside the door. She walked up to the door, unlocked it and, I quote, said "You have 15 seconds. For your piece of mind." By the way we were completely nice the whole time even though how panicked we were.
