LongHorn Steakhouse — Restaurant in Destin

Came here tonight to get a night out without the kids and at first everything was going well...although there was about a 30 minute wait for a table I was seated with no issues and I placed my order. I ordered the sweet tea and it wasn't that good so I requested just to have water instead and the waiter brought my water but didn't take back the sweet tea and while I was trying to move the sweet tea out of the way the entire full glass of tea wasted all over the floor, table and myself smh the guests across from me supplied me with extra napkins to help clean up but the crazy part is the manager was standing right there afterthe incident and I showed him the mess and the the spill covering my entire left leg (mind you it is already cold in the restaurant and now I have cold iced sweet tea drenching my leg) he offers to bring me a towel and never comes back, then I show my waiter the mess and he brings me like 2 or 3 napkins and I ask him could he please bring me a towel because at this point I am FREEZING. Now this has all happened in the 10 minutes of me being here so far all I have received is my drink and a loaf of bread. so needless to say I ask my waiter to please change to dine in order to go because I am so disappointed in the lack of concern from not only staff but management that I don't even want to remain here in this restaurant. This is my 1st BAD experience coming here as I visit destin regularly but i think i will start going to the fort walton beach location after this. My family and I are in vacation here and decided to take a party of 12 to longhorn Tuesday July 12. The restaurant was about 6 tables total say we had to wait 30 minutes to be sat because the waitress was "overwhelmed" this was told to us by the manager and he said when she starts closing tabs out we'll be sat. I work in the restaurant industry so I understand a lot from both sides (front and back of the house). We're sat and it took us about 10 minutes to get our drinks which the manager took because the waitress was still closing out tabs. Sweet tea was awful and watered down. We ordered through him strictly cheese fries were brought chili cheese fries and had to send them back and he told us he was sorry he would fix it he just assumed it was the chili cheese fries. Service was ok could've been better. But today we decided to go again with a party of 13 because the food was decent and it wasn't packed like everything else we walk in the parking lot had 5 cars out front, and we were told the waitresses just got sat a few tables that it'd be 30ish minutes before we could be sat so they weren't overwhelmed. Umm what!? There's no wait and no one in this restaurant hardly but we have to wait for tables to leave because they were just sat a couple of times....needless to say they're losing our business as well as our family's that live in destin and frequent the location. The managers aren't very helpful nor did they try to fix the problems or come up with solutions. Never have I ever had an empty restaurant turn away a party because the waitresses were sat a few minutes prior to us...

My family and I decided to have dinner at this establishment on the night of May 15th! It was 20 of us. We didn’t have any issues once we got there the hostess was exceptionally patient! The waitress who waited on our tables was far too chatty for a group of our size! It took almost an hour just to take our orders! While we waited patiently to close our tickets the children and 1 adult went outside. They were attempting to come back inside just to get a napkin and a white male refused to them back inside! When asked to speak to a manager, the manager also refused to let the kids back inside! Mind you 16 members of this group was still inside waiting to receive our cards back from the waitress! Not only would they not allow the children to come inside there was a Longhorn female worker outside who was in danger! There was a group of boys in a vehicle trying to get her to get in the car with them and she had no idea who the boys were! THE REASON THE MANAGER GAVE US AS TO WHY THEY COULDN'T LET THE KIDS BACK IN WAS BECAUSE OF SAFETY ONCE THE RESTAURANT IS CLOSED! If that was the case why would they leave their employee stranded outside alone! Do you think they called the police on the guys that was pressuring the employee to get in their car? HELL NO!! But they sure call them on us because of us getting upset about them not allowing our KIDS to come back inside when WE were still inside!
