Irish Coffee Bar and Grill — Restaurant in Grosse Pointe Farms

Came to this place to try for the first time. Walked in and was told it was a 15 minute wait which is understandable for a Friday night. Unfortunately, we had an impatient four year old with us so we decided to order takeout and my fiancé stayed while I took my son home and waited for the food. This was at 6:28pm. My fiancé waited 15 minutes before anybody approached him to take his order. His order had four burgers, french fries and an appetizer. It is now 8:11 PM and he still has not received his food. When he asked the gentleman where it is at the guy keeps telling him that they’re taking it off the grill and it would be a couple more minutes. He has watched three tables come and go and still has not received his order. Unfortunately he’s already paid and wont leaving without his food. Advise you guys to stay away from this establishment because clearly they don’t care about their customers. We are more than understanding about a wait when it’s a busy Friday night but going on two hours is unacceptable. We...

I'm black, it was obvious that my friend and I stood out, and I felt a lot of tension there. I saw the waitress staring at me a few times during our visit. I made sure I was polite... saying "please" and "thank you", whenever I said something to her. After I got my to go box, my friend and I waited a long time for our tab. I nicely asked if we had got out check ( which was wrong word) and the waiters who said the minimum to us the whole time, got really aggressive and started talking at me very loudly. She said very rudely said, "how are you supposed to have a check, I Didn't give you the tab". I said i ment to say tab. We paid. Left promptly and while i was walking out, i saw her give me a dirty look. When we left i was so bothered by how i was treated, I asked my friend did I say something that may have offered her. My friend said no, and stated that he saw her staring at him. We still don't know why she was treating...

Terrible.... Ordered a Burger Medium Rare with a side of onion rings. Was served a piece of over cooked leather... Bartender did not even check with me to ask how it was not even after she gave me the bill. Especially seeing a burger with only one bite out of it. She asked me if I needed a take out box I was like no it was terrible and explained. She was like why did you not say something before (as she was taking the cash to pay the bill) I could have made you another one or comped it.... I did not feel like waiting another 20-30 min for them to make another one medium rare. She said I can't comp it since you waited till the end to tell me. I am like reallyt you see a burger with one bite out of it and say that and don't comp it... I did not even ask. Oh and by the way if you are going to charge $7 for hand battered onion rings give the customer more than 5 small onion rings. ...
