I am a regular shopper at Cash Wise in Dickinson. With our very large family, we purchase a LOT of food. So recently, when I saw a great sale on macaroni noodles, I picked up a bunch of boxes (About 30lbs total). There were plenty more on the shelves, so I was happy to get such a great deal and still leave a lot more for other customers. Unfortunately, at the moment I was shopping with 6 of my very young children, and I was a bit distracted. So I didn't notice the clearly marked, "Limit 2" on the sale tag. As I came up through the checkout line, the manager was nearby and noticed all my boxes of macaronis. He pointed out the problem for me. I debated returning all the extra boxes, but decided to purchase them all at regular price since it was my fault for not seeing the limit. Manager (Larry) then offered to give me a discount on the regular-priced boxes to help off-set my cost. I appreciated this so much! His thoughtfulness toward me and graciousness to point out my error was kind. To help me off-set the cost of the regular-priced boxes was extra-kind! The employees at this store often show this type of service toward customers, and I'm thankful to have the opportunity to share this...
Ā Ā Ā Read morekind of an odd place tbh. doesn't know if it wants to save you money with the truckload sales or if it wants to be a family fare competitor.
it has an entire wall of pizza and ice cream, but you can't get interesting foods like stuffed grape leaves. granted these things go in different places but.... I find myself lounging for variety I have to drive to family fare for.
sometimes they don't offer a high end option for foods but have space to fit a 6' wide selection of the same food stuffs.
also they divide their nice stuff from the mid to low stuff and it's kind of this odd thing where you have to walk through the store to get the nice thing. almost seems on purpose which is annoying. also, some food items have no price tags for WEEKS! It's a weird thing
def a better option than Walmart tho. Walmart has stepped up its game but it's still Walmart. pig with lipstick
overall it's a 3.5 but you can't do that. i...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI dont like having to bag my own groceries when I have a large amount that I purchased. If I have a couple of things I'll go thru self checkout. I have a bad back and the last thing I want to do after I walked all over the store, buying from their business. A customer being supportive of your paychecks. .would love to start bagging my own stuff and hold up the line because I cant go any faster. Its painful. I feel sorry for some of the older customers. They shouldnt have to bag their own. And no one helps. I've helped. But sometimes I'm so tired from bagging my own. I'm like "do it yourself grandpa, I'm exhausted from bagging my own!" I'm kidding of course. I dont go there all the time, only to get a few things. The prices are great. Deli is nice. Meat counter is always looking good. Those guys are funny. The produce is...
