City Brew Coffee — Restaurant in Dickinson

Well here's the good news, the inside is very nicely set up with a fireplace that wasn't on, even though it's 25° out (snowing all day). There was no line, just me 👍. So the bad news. (Sat 3pm) It took about 3 minutes for them to take my order as they rushed around trying to work frantically. Then after taking my order it took another 7 minutes. At 5 minutes I thought my order was up but it turned out to actually be for a man who was sitting in the corner for God knows how long waiting for his. there's definitely not enough people working behind the counter. the drive through line probably had about 10 cars. You would think after waiting all that time for a white salted mocha latte It would at least be delicious. (See photo). It basically tasted like salted water and milk, it was room temperature which makes absolutely no sense unless it had been sitting out for hours before. It Was nothing like the photo. It had no whipped cream it was pretty much disgusting. So that was my first $5 mistake for sink water with salt in it. upon leaving I couldn't resist to get one of those unbelievable giant looking brownies in the counter window display. Yes this would be my second $5 mistake. Do not waste your money the little bites brownie packages they sell in gas stations are 10x better. Also the brownie looks unbelievably delicious and is heavy. In reality the brownie is a chemical square fabrication of fraudulent disgustingness. It was as if it was permanently stale. I could tell the shelf life on these brownies is at least 3 -10years. The entire Browning including the fudge drizzle on top was 100% chemical fake flavoring. Instead of being mushy and moist it was more like dried sheetrock spackling that when you broke into it, just crumbled and went all over. There was zero moisture. I LOVE, City Brew in Bismarck, but the last three experiences at the Dickinson location are literally embarrassing. I order the Fit Frap, and an Everything Bagek Sandwich every time. When I tried this 3 days ago my service was terrible, my bagel had been over cooked so long I couldn’t bite through it, and my fit frapp had not been blended all the way. I try again today, because I’m not going to write off a place after one experience. I am THE ONLY CAR IN THE LINE, at 10:50, I wait over 5 minutes to be greeted. She pauses in the middle of my order, it’s 11:00 and I still haven’t finished my two item order. I get to the window, I wait until 11:10 without anyone coming to the window. I end up...

Went in the morning, they were busy with 3 employees working through drive thru orders. Only had to wait 2mins or so for someone to take our order. They were very cheerful and kind apologized for the wait. We’re very patient with our order and the hot chocolate was good, only small complaint was the breakfast sandwiches were about what you’d expect for a coffee shop. Not bad but nothing extremely delicious, nor did I expect it to be. Prices were really nice too.

Men’s restroom was fairly clean, some small scraps of toilet paper on the ground and the toilet paper roll just laying on a hand rail not in the toilet paper roll holder.
