QDOBA Mexican Eats — Restaurant in Dickinson

I can't help but compare this place to Chipotle. I love Chipotle. I would marry Chipotle if it was legal in my state. Anyway. I like that this place serves breakfast. Even though I didn't order off the breakfast menu. They're prices are a bit higher than Chipotle. 8.99 for a chicken burrito bowl vs Chipotle 6.50 for a chicken bowl. They have more toppings than Chipotle and you can choose guacamole without being charged extra. I didn't see anything that advertised that the ingredients were local or organic like they do at Chipotle. Something about the rice, I didn't like. Their chicken portion size was weak. A lot less hipster than Chipotle. You don't hear music that makes you question "who recorded this"? Don't come here expecting Mexican food. You'll be disappointed. It's very Texican. Okay so I placed an order a few days back and there was an item missing, simple item chips and queso I called back spoke to someone that said next time i come in my item would be replaced so today I called and I spoke to a manager about that missing item and I also placed another large order the person I spoke to was a male with an accent I asked for his name he said he did not have to give it to me then he started yelling at me on the phone and said he would not replace the chips and salsa, i even tried to get him to calm down but he continued yelling at me. Honestly I don't care about that chips and salsa I spent over $60 on my order and a little respect would be nice especially if you're giving them your hard earned cash! Honestly love the food but i have never has a nice person make my meal, always stingy and seems to make my presence there a burden. Not on top of that, this isn’t the only reason i’m rating one star, went there today and absolutely nobody was wearing masks, the lady working on my food not only didn’t wear a mask and was giving me the toughest glare, coughed a bit on my food. I would let this slide if there wasn’t a pandemic hitting new cases everyday in Dickinson, but honestly i would rather not kill my grandma at home by eating here and being served by someone who acts like it’s not their job to tend to a customer.
