Donât even bother shopping here!! My fiancĂŠ ordered my rings sometime in November after thanksgiving!! He was hoping to propose to me with it. He made it custom! Paid for the custom bridal set in full. He called periodically to check the status of the ring. And they blatantly lied to him. After the holidays, they said it would be finished towards the end of January and was told he would receive a phone call when the ring was done. My fiancĂŠ was patient. He waited until early February since he did not receive a call back, they told him the ring was reaching itâs window and should be finished soon. Fast forward to March 4th 2023, he called the store asking for the bridal set since it was way overdue. He was informed by the store manager Steffa that the vendor had rejected the order of the ring when he first placed the order and the ring was NEVER made!! They told us to come in and that they could try to offer us something similar. Since my finger is a size for they attempted to tell us weâd need to wait at least another month for this issue to be corrected. We came in the next day with family. My fiancĂŠ is hispanic and I am black. We got stared down since the moment we walked into the jewelry store. (By customers and staff alike.) Store associates even decided to skip our family and greet other people that came in after us. Asking them if they âfelt okay.â We were not offered any deals for the inconvenience they posed to us. We now have to postpone our entire wedding because a bride is without a ring!! The sales person that took over our case was super rude and the store manager Steffa was nowhere to be seen. She was âon lunch.â But we were in the store well over 30 minutes. She didnât pop in to help out once. They only showed us two bridal sets and two separate rings, claiming that they had nothing else in stock for our price range!! And half of the rings they showed us were on CLEARANCE!! Which is funny since when he initially came into the shop searching for rings he had many choices for the price range he set. They tried to get us to sign up for their store credit card and rewards program for 15% off. And they attempted to make us accept a full refund in the form of a store gift card!! Imagine being blatantly lied to for months that youâre receiving an important piece of custom jewelry worth over $1000, finding out it was never made, being racially profiled the minute you step foot in store to dispute the discrepancy, and not being offered any incentives for the inconvenience.    Read moreI am a very long time customer, 30 plus years, of Zales in the Viewmont Mall in Dickson City , PA. Every time I have gone into the store, I am greeted immediately, and I am asked if they can help me find something or even when I say I am browsing , the still let me know that they are there to help and to let them know if I have any questions. All the staff and team members at that Zales location are fantastic. Best customer service, very knowledgeable about the jewelry, great at helping me find a gift for a person that is difficult to buy for, and they are never pushy about purchasing a piece of jewelry. The last time I was in the store, I went to browse and with the help of a great team member, MaryKate, I actually ended up purchasing a bracelet for myself. She showed me many bracelets, even though I told her I was browsing, she treated me kindly, patiently and respectfully and never said anything pushy about buying. I love the bracelet I purchased and MaryKate was a perfect representative of the company she works for. I own many pieces of jewelry from this store and I know my collection of jewelry from this store will only grow. It is a store I very much enjoy shopping at, weather I purchased a piece or not, or just browsing. All team members of this store are just as fantastic as MaryKate is. I walked in and there were 3 workers. 1 was with another customer and 2 were doing paperwork or something else behind the counter. I stood in front of them and waited almost a full 5 minutes before they even looked up and acknowledged me at all. Another couple walked in the store at that point and was walking around. One of the workers looked up and said whoâs next. Never made eye contact with me. Just looked directly at the couple. The other worker who was with her looked at me and said âsheâs next.â The worker who asked who was next never looked at or acknowledged my presence and went straight to assist the other couple even though I had clearly been there way before the others. The worker who pointed and me and said I was next looked at me because I was just dumbfounded I was completely ignored and she said âIâll get you next.â I walked out. Furious. Disrespected. I just said you lost a good customer and Iâll take my business elsewhere. I walked across to the other jewelry store in the mall and was greeted immediately and said they would be right with me, even though they had a full store of customers.
